Totally agree. We need to earn the right to rest players. This match should be a walk in the park but if we let them get a foothold we could make it difficult for ourselves.

Hope we have a good start to the campaign, particularly since we're at home against a virtual unknown.

In the last two years they have beat Anderlecht, and got draws against Monaco and Celtic.

These Qarabag players will be highly motivated particularly playing in London against one of the top teams in the world. They'll wanna make a massive statement. 

Hopefully Conte cuts out any complacency and the players come out hard and heavy. 

On one hand a weaker team still wins and rests players, on the other hand the topping of this group could come down to goal difference...I'd start strong, bang some in and take off key players, a team down goals at half time is disheartened, you start a weaker team and they hold out will take more of an effort to break down.

Drinkwater is a doubt. Morata should be benched.

Get a big scoreline then rest the players and shut up shop.

These are teams we need to put away sharpish before they gain momentum

How is that? We should be strolling past any team from Azjerbaijan (sp?) Especially at home. 

Conte has already confirmed he'll be resting players. So even he doesn't feel the need to play our best xi. 

They won't be the only team out to prove a point that match either. We have quite a few who have something to prove.

Got tickets to this one, I actually enjoy the games against 'smaller' teams. Normally get to see some of the squad players, I'm actually annoyed if we put out our strongest team as I look forward to seeing who wants to impress. European equivalent to Stoke on a cold Tuesday night...

Really conte should heavily rotate as much as he is allowed to with the cl squad. Lot of important games coming up in quick order. If our squad cannot win this home game then we are in trouble .

Conte hinted that Hazard'll be benched. He says he doesn't want to take stupid risks.

I'm a bit nervous about this. They're an unknown quantity with nothing to lose. 

I respect us rotating but only when it makes sense. Azpi, alonso, fabregas and luiz didnt play during internationals so shd be fresh as well as cahill who is super fresh.

Moses must be tired and must be rested, Kante is a super human but wont mind being substituted at half time for Baka will go for

Even vs Qarabag, that front 3 is asking for trouble, could maybe gamble with Charly if Haz and Alvaro were next to him but Willy and Bats? No way has to be Pedro. I agree with the rest of the team tho.

What a shame about Drinkwater, in CM will probably have to be Kante-Cesc depending if Bakayoko can handle a midweek game post surgery. Or Luiz might want some extra experience in midfield.
