There was a period where the match threads got really, really bad.

Which is why I stopped visiting match day threads

He was slammed even in the FA Cup final. Some fans probably wanted us to lose, so they can slam him more ....

As good as the FA Cup was, it doesn't change the sh*t he was serving up for most of the season. He is paid £9m a year to get the best out of what he's got, and he didn't get remotely close to achieving it.

Conte have 4 league titles and he is 11 years younger then Sarri, yet Sarri have exactly zero trophy - ZERO.

Some of us would happily settle for just something entertaining. Anything has got to be better than the utterly gutless way he set the team vs Man City in the last season, The sheer thought of seeing that again fills me with dread and contempt.

Sadly we have many of them now.......when I see our own fans claiming he's a c**t, that he has destroyed our Club, a sabotager etc......then you know you got some incredibly entitled and ungratful supporters. The dude has been a massive success with us......a success any other epl Club would love. Its funny how people believe Sarri coming will change much.....we ourselves are our own worst enemy.......does not matter who the manager is, the end result WILL be the same.....whether he wins stuff or not.....we will still manage to suck the life out of them.

now looking back in hindsight, the costa text was the beginning of his downfall...

As to people moaning about some calling Conte a c*unt, I haven't seen anywhere in this thread but i have seen several people chastising these inexsitant c*nt posts... weird

Despite his bad press on here and apparent falling out with the board I think the tone of some of the anti Conte posts shows how  spoilt some of the so called fans/ posters are. I for one value the FA Cup victory over a top 4 place, I also respect the man winning the prem in his first season, plus it should not be a surprise as to his behavior last season 'cause if you researched the bloke's character before he came (its well documented in the press/ media) you'd see he operates on the 'My way or else' philosophy. That didnt matter a hoot when he was on top in his first season people only turned on him when lbh, he wasn't backed 100% in the market for whatever reasons we shall never know, so some people make up those reasons on here - lol.  I am not without blame tbh, I have loudly slagged him off in private while watching some of the worst games since Mourinho's last sacking season and the mid 70s when the club was in Div 2; but in public he was Chelsea manager and as such deserved some modicum of respect from us lot. As for the new manager search project FFS, what a long drawn out saga, enough already.
