We all need just one more massive result this season for the good of english football...................Come on Real!!

Spot on.

although after defeat all the victim stories will reappear

Funny how differently people see the game, most of us were talking about a number of players being good and notably Rudiger.

When Gullit was primed by the BBC host, 'So Rudiger was man of the match.........'

'No, not for me, it was Kante. He was outstanding!'

Neville,

'I agree clearly the best player on the pitch today, outstanding.'

Another comment, they could not understand why after going a goal down Utd decided to match Chelsea rather than change Utds' approach play.

Gullit?

World player but not the right man on the BBC chair, Strider6003.

Great result, fantastic support and a great day out.

We all did it for Butch .

And one last point and the sweetest point of all

F**k Jose

Zigga  zagga oi oi oi

Brilliant day, from 8am when I left for breakfast, to when I got in at about 11:15pm, I was on here in week bit worried about how our support would be, but I need not of worried, it was excellent yesterday, well done to us all, I have watched Chelsea about 20 times at Wembley and Utd support was worse I ever seen or heard, full of tourists and not one song from them, what a lovely Sunday morning it feels, if a little groggy!! Carefree

Was surprised that Jones wasn't sent-off. Looked a red card from where we were sitting. As for Ashley Young, what a cheat. And not very good either. Can't understand how he is going to the World Cup.

It has to be intentional for a red card - they changed the rules 2 years ago.

Proud of the way the team performed. The game plan was simple and not pretty, but we stuck with it well, and took the game after kick off to make the 1:0 game plan works. It's a final, only result matters, Jose would have been proud with the way we played if he's still the manager. One of the best performance by Hazard, he didn't get much help from his team mates. but took it all upon himself to win the cup. Rudiger is fast becoming my favourite defender, just no BS defending, and the boy knew how to dance at the after party. Baka made us forget about the sale of Matic, hell maybe in 12 months time he will prove we made the right decision on that deal.

I'm like you, Slojo, I have no confidence whatsoever.

I will wake up Sunday, and when the lineups come up an hour before game time, if I see Bakayoko's name in the starting lineup, I will not watch, since I have no desire to watch a match where we will inevitably lose if we play with 10 men against 11.

If Bakayoko is not in the starting lineup, I will watch, but with the feeling that we will likely get hammered by ManU.

From a super high after the Liverpool match, to this.  Very sad.

Gutted for you that you missed the game mate.....

Maybe have a bit more faith next time and you won't miss watching your team beat Manchester United in a cup final ;-)

Great day out yesterday at Gatwick now waiting on a plane.

first half was entertaining saw a lot of the ball and Eden take his pen up the MU end. Second half hardly saw the ball but did see Young’s blatant hand ball (VAR?). Tough 5 minutes ET as no time clock in Stadium so it felt like 10 mins. But when Oliver finally blew was one of the best moments of my 55 years.  1st time to see CFC win this cup in person and hope not the last. And unlike last year got to stay in the stadium & watch the cockney reds leggit first.

Season saved - brilliant !!!

How did you edit that after a number of us had commented, admin privileges... I guess.

Given that there is no comma between "up" and "Coco", I suspect Jose is setting the Portuguese mafiosi on our beloved moderator. We need a plan of action to protect Cocolicious!

Can we play on May 19th every year? #2012, #2018

It does make you wonder about numerology and fate!

Of course I also suspect that Conte coached them very well this week as their shape looked good throughout the match.

Nah, it was the date :drinks:

Did not get to watch the match live, but have seen it in its entirety now.

I thought the lads played with great effort and clearly wanted to win this one.

It was a very strange season. Just a couple of strange no-show losses to Watford and Bournemouth in late January is what cost us top 4. Mix in a few other poor performances and well, it was disappointing in the end. But there were some high moments, beating Spurs at Wembley, Man United and Liverpool at home and of course, beating Man United yesterday.

Always nice to finish the last match lifting silverware. 2018 FA Cup Champions.

Come on you Chelsea!! :bluescalf::bluescalf:
