Whoever compiled that video get them in the police force immediately, they can find just about anything. 

That video of Bakayoko proves one thing, that some of our approach play was gorgeous, it was the finish that was lacking.

Sure you could but that year we won the title and Matic played 35 games, the video showed that he wasn't rubbish and that he played as a deep lying midfielder so that alone destroys any possible hint that we can't play with such a tactic! Anyone that thinks that David Luiz was better in that position overall just watched a handful of games where he did well and simply ignored the fact that David Luiz has had immense problems with his form and decision making.

In some ways that video gives me hope because it proves he isn't totally incompetent and that maybe with the right system or direction from Sarri he'll find his feet this year and become the box to box midfielder he clearly looks like he can be.

The first couple of minutes of that video highlight why bakayoko was so poor. 

He never moves the ball 1st time, because he doesn't get his head up and know his next pass, before he receives the ball. 

He takes a touch, gets closed down, has to battle to keep the ball, then plays the pass he should've played earlier. 

As it's a highlights video, you don't actually see the amount of times he loses the ball in this exact scenario, whether it's from getting his pocket picked, or panicking and playing a poor pass. 

In France he probably got away with it alot more, as there is plenty of time on the ball, time that you just don't get in England.

He looks the opposite of what sarri wants from a midfielder, I would be surprised if he is still around, and if sarri can turn him into a top midfielder, it would be a miracle.

PR is crucial and Sarri can’t be in two places at once and I would suspect that the club would want to herald the signing as bring the new regimes

Not quite sure I saw the same thing as you did from the video. It’s a whole different proposition if you look wider but sorry not from that video.

Its well documented that he wasn’t fit when he was signed and not getting in a full pre season will have been a massive issue add that to the fact that Conte made it abundantly clear that he thought the signings weren’t top draw( that must have been a real boost to his self esteem and confidence) then its really no surprise his play was neither empowered or indeed adventurous.

Very very few players aged 22, the age he was when he signed, would have found the adjustment easy and whilst I am far from convinced he will improve enough he really needs to be given a little more time before he is consigned to the bin

I imagine Sarri was given the option to try out Barkley and RLC first, and given Barkley has apparently impressed we may have decided the transfer wasn't needed

We as fans won't know, but it's Sarri and his staff's job to work it out (or atleast have a strong idea) either way.

You have RLC and Fabregas as backups then I suppose there is Drinkwater and Bakayoko to step up, then I suppose someone from the youth team.

We are currently stacked in midfield and, unless Golovin is being seen as a RW, his signing means one of Barkley or RLC needs moving on.

If Sarri really does like the look of Barkley there is no need to sign someone to replace him.

Sarri mentioned in his first press conference that the midfield lacks quality. Stacked as in quantity > quality? Bakayoko and Drinkwater are meh 

Whatever the case may be, the Premier League clubs agreed to a shorter transfer window, so while the rest of Europe are looking at getting deals done by the end of August we have until the 9th.

That's 15 days. Tour or no your, we need to see some signings soon...

I would like for RLC etc to make it through, just dont see it yet.

Golovin is just a better player, simple. We will find out through the season I guess. 

I just don’t understand why there is such a delay? Especially after his team mate has pretty much confirmed he’s leaving.
