If he’s training, that’s a good sign. Hopefully it’s just sore and they can patch him up.

Kante due to train tomorrow as well, depends what condition they are in.

Nice of the FA to give us two full days recovery time in the build-up. At least it's the same for both sides. Errrr...

Aside from the dirty tackles at lest Leeds did not make us work hard.

Not surprisingly Mateo's volley against the bin dippers has been voted by supporters as goal of the season. Goalie had no chance.

It really is a thing of beauty, and made even better by the fact his next 2 shots in that game looked like he was wearing wellies....

Seems to have become the forgotten man in recent months. All of this talk about getting Kante back to his best and starting Gallagher, but if anything, I think we should be talking about getting this man back on the field and back to his best. We are much more consistent with him on the pitch and in form.

I think he's injured again, out for tomorrow.

I could be wrong Scott, but I have a nagging feeling that Tuchel does not rate Kovacic as highly as some of us on here. I don't think he sees him as a nailed on starter. Time will tell I guess.

Typical. Can't keep Kante and Kovacic fit.

He's been playing his best football for the past 2 seasons, so I hope this isn't true.

I think this may be due to his continual nagging injuries that he regularly picks up

Some rumours flying about that Conte and Kova got into a spat in the tunnel after the game and Kova ended up getting pushed. Obviously didn’t play but wouldn’t surprise me if Kova didn’t make his feeling known to Conte on the walk past him.

We know form the footage Conte riled up Dave.

Hate it when the injury is so vague.

A knee injury could be anything. Is it a bruised knee, patellar strain or is there cartilage damage? Because each one is significantly different to the other in terms of recovery time and impact.

Did Roy Keane start the rumour?

‘There might have been a bit of pushing and shoving.’

Kovacic another player who has got better by just not being involved in today's shambles.

Then, first game back, just wait for the moment Kova and Jorgi play tikka-takka passes on the edge of our own box and the opposition forward nips in to slide one pass Mendy.

Sigh...........................

If Chelsea had won by 6 goals today then I would still be asking the same thing. I won't bother then.

Definitely seems expectedly short of fitness and sharpness in the brief periods we have seen him this season.  Hopefully does not require surgery, but if Zakaria, Gallagher, RLC and J5 settle down, perhaps Kante and Kova won't be rushed.
