February 4, 20197 yr I think we really knocked City out of their stride with our surprising win against them last time, I'm sure they'll take us seriously even given our form (we weren't exactly in great form last time). I just hope even if we lose we give them a good game, show signs of progress, please do not get steamrolled.
February 4, 20197 yr Our next 6 games areCity (A) - PLMalmo (A) - ELUnited (H) - FAMalmo (H) - ELCity (N) - LCSpurs (H) - PLThis is gonna be rough.

I saw psg beat Liverpool in the champions league this season, and the defensive work that neymar got through was incredible, considering he is generally quite a lazy player. I think we can win with hazard out wide but he has to put a real shift in defensively. It's going to be a tough few weeks. 4 points from spurs and city in the league would be great. I think if we play deep like we did at the bridge then we will have a chance, but if we push up as much as arsenal did yesterday, then we will get torn apart on the counter.

I agree, if Hazard put in effort we can even be better defensively bcos Higuain i pretty good in tracking defenders, and ofcourse we will be much more dangerous. We really need good long passes from Luiz in this one.

February 4, 20197 yr One of the few games where we are unlikely to dominate possession which I actually think might help us. We're likely to move the ball forward a bit quicker and when we played Spurs in the league cup recently we looked the better for it. I think Kovacic will be recalled ahead of Barkley despite his having a good game against Huddersfield. I think Willian will play on the right wing despite not much of note in recent appearances... We can all want CHO to be given a chance in one of the bigger games but it's so unlikely to happen. Big game for Sarri this one, he's got to try and show we're not fragile away from home and need to show some confidence and self belief to try and go out and win this one.

February 4, 20197 yr I think it'll be a 1-0 win snooze fest. An early goal then a lot of nothing from both sides.

February 4, 20197 yr Well, if there is one thing I'm pretty sure of: it won't be like City away last year.

February 4, 20197 yr A bit torn here; obviously I want a Chelsea win but a Chelsea win helps Liverpool close in on the title. This game is making me question my very existence. My feelings exactly!
February 4, 20197 yr With sh*tty having a midweek game against Everton and us resting I expect us to be fresher and hopefully steal a smash and grab against this Lot even if that means we will lose the carabao cup final because I don't see us beating 3 times in one seasonThe most important match we have this month is the carabao cup final, losing that match will................I don't know the word to use that can best describe how bad I will feel if we lose that. Losing to city this weekend isn't the end of world. We can still get top 4 even if we lose this because our rivals for the top 4 will probably also lose to City in the league.

I think if we play deep like we did at the bridge then we will have a chance, but if we push up as much as arsenal did yesterday, then we will get torn apart on the counter.Actually I thought Arsenal was really defensive in that game by playing 5 defenders and 2 defensive midfielders in Torreira and Guendouzi which helped them to neutralize City's attacking threat for most of the game but City eventually got the edge because Aubameyang and Iwobi didn't threaten the City defence much on the counter attack. Swap those two players with Hazard and Higuain and Arsenal would have won that game or at least get a draw. I see us being set up by Sarri to be as defensively solid as Arsenal was given the fact that Sarri will want to find a spot for Jorginho in that midfield. So unlike in the game against Arsenal, City will have much more chances to score, but if Hazard and Higuain are at there best, we PROBABLY might outscore them to win it.
