Lazy analysis from match of the day - blaming Jorginho for everything...

Can't agree with that Brit. Shearer pretty fairly summarised what I saw from Jorginho in that half.

Apart from Kante our midfield has absolutely no pace, athleticism or power. And that is our major problem IMO.

These players were not signed by Sarri though. He has no involvement in the transfers

OK but he does have involvement for Jorginho and Higuain.

Conte who persisted all of last season with the 3 at the back everyone knew how to play against. How is that any better?

Wud have been okay if we had a drogba or costa...morata sucked..

0-8  in a game and a half against the Manchester teams.

Unforgiveable for any Chelsea-manager.

Dont think it matters if we lose this one by 8 and to city in the final by 10. Roman is not going to act. He is not as involved and, dare I say, does not care as much anymore. Sadly the rival fans were right in predicting he would become bored with us.

I think sarri stays until we have no chance of CL next year.

Sorry, but this is just ridiculous. If he was bored of the club, he would never have let us spend that much on a goalkeeper and midfielder. Abramovich can't really do much if he isn't allowed in the country. He's basically relying on the board members here, and they are doing a poor job. If he was bored, then he would never have bothered with trying to get us moving with a new stadium. If Abramovich is bored, then what does that say about 99% of owners in this country?

I’m surprised how positive it at least non critical the response is on here. We’ve not been bad per say, but we couldn’t beat an egg. Poor at the back, weak in the middle and toothless up front. Doesn’t leave much room for hope. City again next and then Spurs. God help us.

So the 50 million man he had orchestrate his Napoli side was not his man?

Really?

Sure. Maybe the odd exception but our transfers have been awful now for a while. Marina needs to go

Hi All,

Lifetime Fan new here so a big HI! Can someone tell me where our creativity is coming from as we only have Hazard and Higuen on the pitch. Gorghino , Kante , Kosavic are not attacking minded we cant rely on Luiz long passing. Dave seems to have lost confidence in crossing and Alonso not a left back.

Apart from that we can still win this.

Also the man basically got banned from entering the country and even so through phone calls he secured to signing of Sarri. Saying that "he's bored" makes no sense.

I can't even blame the determination of the players today, it's not that they aren't giving their all, It's just individual mistakes and poor tactics that is costing us. By persisting with the exact same tactics in every game, Sarri is inviting other coach's to take advantage of his weaknesses.

Screw Sarri's Napoli side, that was Serie A, this is English football. You don't have anywhere near the amount of time on the ball that you get in Italy. The only reason why Sarri's system worked in Italy is because of the lack of intensity. English football always has and always will be about intensity off the ball and quick and direct attacks when on the ball.

And Nuno Espirito Sancho proves that a getting used to new league, a higher level, a different level of competitiveness cannot be used as an excuse for poor tactics. If Wolves can compete with the squad they have then we should be able to put a team out that doesn't constantly crumble every game.

if you were watching BBC you'd have heard them point out Jorginho's failure to act defensively and how that led to the first goal. we need to put Kante back in his proper position and if Jorginho can't hack it further forward too bad

I'm not debating he's not great defensively, but his playmaking was great -which is what he's supposed to do in this system
