I don't like the false 9 either, but the problem is Hazard. He's not disciplined enough to be tracking back so if you want him in your team with this game plan he has to be the striker

I don't get how bad our players move when we build from the back. Everybody stops. 

We've too many defenders in for their attacking ability, conversely too many attackers in for their defensive capabilities.

Totally and that’s the personnel change I’d make as well as CHO starting as his end product and directness would be hugely beneficial on the counter.

Man City really are the best tactical foulers around. The entire midfield and front line must have it drilled into them - charge at anything that looks like the start of an attack. Hit it hard, and if you don't get the ball make sure you get the man. Then 10 behind the ball, and restart the pass-athon.

Getting the ball back is so integral part of their system so that is why. Should be ours as well.
