Suprised at Alonso’s absence, has he had a falling out with Sarri? Didn’t travel with the squad for the away match to Malmo and now left out of the squad for a cup final.

Given our recent form and performances I don’t think there’s a line up Sarri could have named today that wasn’t met with criticism.

It should've been the same lineup as Thursday quite honestly... Jorginho playing? We are f**ked. 

Emerson instead of Alonso is the best thing. Too many minutes played by Alonso, for me the biggest mistake of Sarri until now.

Bring Kante alongside Jorg and he can play with the ball. This is not Jorginho's fault but Sarri's stubborness. I have no idea why people are targeting Jorginho. That is just too simple.

yes but thats 42 minutes city dont have the ball, possession is the best defence, all the 6 goals were from individual mistakes when city had the ball.

Well, can't really criticize the lineup, the front 3 were effective when we beat them at Stamford Bridge.

Always optimistic, they're a brilliant side but we absolutely have the quality to beat them today, looking forward to it!

Hang on, we beat city with no stirker, we got hammered 6-0 with a striker, Sarri picks no striker, and you call him mental, get a grip.

I do actually think Jorginho is a good player, he showed earlier in the season good glimpses, but right now he's in awful form. 

I agree this is mostly Sarri's fault but Jorginho just offers us absolutely nothing at the moment, I think you could play Zappacosta in his position and get more out of it because Jorginho doesn't cover enough ground or even tackles player. 

If City score first we lose. I think it is that simple.
