If David Luiz did that when playing centre back he'd be criticised for it. 

The lad is absolute beast and with SKILL! Opponents look fearful to go near him - think he will be a revolution for us next season. 

We could literally have our very own Trent Alexander-Arnold with this lad! Hoping to see him break through the same way he did and be a star for us. 

just been stretchered off for england u20 with what looks like a serious ankle injury apparently. Hope its not as bad as it looks.

Just saw this on twitter. The footballing gods are taking a massive sh*t on us this summer. What is the reason for these internationals straight after a season? Absolute joke. 

Absolute horrendous injury by the looks of things, this summer is just getting worse and worse.

Broken ankle by the looks of it. 

Devastated for him, and for us aswell. 

Hopefully its not a bad break, Hazard broke his ankle arpund the same date, and was back by early September, hopefully Reece can have a similar recovery.

Sounds bad for sure but we probably won't know the extend of the injury until the club medical team takes a look. All the best for a quick recovery Reece.

 

Good grief, we can’t catch a f**king break.  As mentioned though, he should be back by October at the latest.  Really was looking forward to him getting a full preseason with the first team.

Reports coming out that he did NOT break the ankle, rather it is a really bad sprain.  If so, he’ll probably only be out for a month at the very most.

Just seen that. Hope your right, sometimes a break is better than ligament damage, less complicated and a smaller chance of reinjury.

Good point, if there’s some bad ligament damage he could probably miss most of the summer.

Now reports are saying that although he did not break the ankle, he may still need surgery and be out 3 months.

 

I'm going to assume he did not end up requiring surgery if he is already running in the pool.  Good sign, he may well be back sometime during the preseason.

The potential that James & CHO will be back for early season/pre season really do feel like new signings in some ways. With them included as well as Abraham, Mount, Da Silva and Tomori is fantastic. Zouma & Bats too gotta love it.

Dasilva has been sold to Bristol as of yesterday. Tomori and Bats I cant see being with us for the season, and not sure whats happening with Zouma as I think he might be getting sold.
