I reckon Kova and Thiago too. But James / Mount will quite certainly wear the armband at least every other game because neither of those "old-timers" will play every game over 90mins.

I just don't know what you see in Kante that means he'd be an effective club captain. 

Needless to say, I'd sell jorginho and Kante this summer. 

No no no.  Kante is a great servant to Chelsea, but he is far from captain material.  Way too meek to be a useful captain.

Absolutely oozes class and could be anything he wants to be with the right application. 

Sometimes i think he is wasted as a wing back and would love to see him in a more central role influencing games.

 

Ranks 15th in the league for G+A/90 mins. 4th for assists per 90.

Next highest defenders for G+A are Robertson and TAA who are 49th and 51st (separated by lukaku 🤣).

It might be a blessing he was injured as people are still sleeping on how world class he is and we've got to get him to sign up for a new contract.

Reece can be very good yet sometimes it does not happen for him.

More consistency and then he could be one of the greats.

Also needs more pace on those crosses otherwise it favours the defence.

Would not blame Reece if he holds out to see where the new owners take us. He is a top, top player. If he played for Real Madrid he would be being compared to Cafu as one of the greatest ever in his position.

Reece conceded the penalty yesterday that sank England in Hungary.

He pulled back his opposite number running past him in the box. Looked worse than what it was yet clever acting by the Hungarian and made it easy for the ref. 

Kane looked like he was misfiring too.

Nice touch by Hungary to let in the under 14 schoolkids.

Also saw Werner was playing up front for Germany the only highlight for him was the  ball  hitting him from a cross,  he could not get out of the way and his arms were suddenly pulled away, the ball hits his waist falling for Kimmich to score what became the equaliser vs Italy.

I hope the club employs the best people working on his recovery after games. This kid can go very very far.

Humble beginnings and a father that focuses a lot on development. As long as he hangs with the right people and professionally works hard. He has the best chance of emulating Ashley

Need to lock Reece down as soon as possible for as long as possible. 3 years left on his deal currently, but with Real sniffing around, gotta do what we can to keep him here. But don't want to wait too long to get conversations started.
