Yes, cant go crazy but i feel like a smart signing not a panicked one will give a boost to the team and supporters too when we most need it.

I think we should get at least a left back, that's it for me. Emerson and Alonso aren't going to do the business clearly. We shouldn't be playing Azpi there for the rest of the season. 

If the first options aren’t available this Window that will improve the squad id rather us wait till the summer and maybe look at loan deals to secure champions league football which is a must if we want to sign any big players in the summer. 
 

everyone knows we need a left back but we seriously need to upgrade the wide areas. 
 

I just wonder if Chelsea paid Gareth bales full wage roughly 11 million for what would effectively be 5 months now would real be open to a loan deal. If he stayed fit for 5 months he would definitely guarantee champions league football. Real seem to want rid of him and with the euros coming up I’m sure he will want game time to keep fit. Could be a win win for both clubs.

We seem to like selling before we buy which is odd for a club for our size and ambition.

If we sell Giroud first then the whole world will know we’re on the lookout for a striker and everyone’s price suddenly goes up by an extra £10 million.

I can’t see why we don’t get a player in first give him more time to adapt and then spend the rest of window haggling a selling price of a player who wasn’t going to play anyway.

 

Hopefully they board have sourced many of their targets through this window, who are unattainable for transfer now, so that we can quickly wrap them up in the summer and have them get a proper pre-season.

I am starting to believe we should not give Frank any money this window. He is showing he is not able to manage the players he has properly. We dont  need to waste more cash on deadwood.

I dont believe he is looking for it. The parallels between some of Franks selections and the end of Jose's second reign and even Conte picking Baka and basically saying "look at the garbage you gave me to work with" is baffling to me though.

He played with Maka, arguably the greatest holding midfielder the game has seen. How can he think Kante is better suited to playing a Lampard esc game than a Maka one? We are better than what we are showing. It is frustrating to see.

An interesting point about whether Frank would buy well and I think it is frustrating too as we could be playing better than what we currently see now.

Happy to hear Frank has seen areas of the team that need to improve, and is realistic to know doing so in this window is very difficult and a waste of money long term. As he told Sky, some short term deals to help us out are possible but not sure.
