In my totally unbiased opinion, Kai took the most epic penalty of them all, almost looked like he got bored of it half way through and just barely managed to make the final step but while all that happen the keeper already surrendered 😇

Loved his handbags with Trent. Never shirks a  scuffle. 

Can't help but think Klopp would turn him into a monster false 9 in the current Liverpool setup. Tuchel, too, I have no doubt about it, but first we need two other top players to flank him on either side. Mount, Pulisic, Werner, Ziyech are good players, but not of Mane, Salah calibre. The way the front three worked today in terms of Tuchel instructions, Havertz together with another two very good attackers would have easily put three past Liverpool. Chanced were there for the taking, we just missed that extra quality in terms of finishing.

One of his best performances in a Chelsea shirt yesterday I thought.

This is why i bang the drum of playing Kai up front, even when we don't win the games are still enjoyable (both aesthetically and tactically) and it's his best position by an absolute mile.

Compare to how i felt in defeat yesterday (gutted but happy with the way we played and going toe to toe with a major team) to The Ethiad (utterly despondent after being bored sh*tless for 90 minutes) is night and day.

He is our Firmino there. Makes us tick even if his finishing is lacking, lack Roberts.

Would be nice right? Salah is not an off the shelf kinda player though. He has become really special, like Ronaldo or Messi.

Mane though, we could find players like him if our judgment was better. Pool just got another in Diaz.

Our best two are Ziyech and Pulisic imo in terms of goal scorers, but they are levels below Mane.

And if we are expecting Mount, CHO and Werner to become that...yeah don't see it.

Mason would be better served in a 3 with a Gallagher type and a top holding midfielder. His passing is really top draw but we are asking him to be a goal getter where he is and that is not his game.

If we decide to go to a back 4 again I hope the midfield 3 used this season is Mason, Jorgi/RLC and Kante/Kova
