March 14, 20206 yr And it's certainly not as if Liverpool fans would ever enter a stadium they're not allowed into.

June 22, 20206 yr The win yesterday was so important. I think we pretty easily have the most difficult run of games coming in, out of the teams listed above in the top 4 race.
June 22, 20206 yr I think we just need to not be beaten in the next four games. We could easily lose to City but a draw would be a good result. Then win 2/3 out of 3 of the next ones and i think we'd be practically home and dry.

With this scenario of 3 wins 1 draw 1 loss after the Man City game which I didn't take in count, ManUtd and Wolves would need to win the next 5 games out of 6 in order to have the same amount of points and I don't see them doing it. On paper ManUtd have easy games but they have been struggling whole season in those type of games and Wolves have to play Arsenal and Everton in the next 6 games. In case Wolves do an amazing run we might just get into a position where we would need to win the last game of the season that is against them.

June 22, 20206 yr Wolves will terrorize Arsenal. My Nan would terrorise Arsenal and she's been dead 2 years.

TBF, if your dead Nan shows up running around a football pitch I'll probably be terrorized too.... well, I'll be laughing for the first 15 minutes as she takes out Arsenal, but when she starts to leave the empty stadium I'll be scared.

June 26, 20206 yr Massive result yesterday for us. A loss would have really put the pressure on. Looking at the next 5 games, we should really be winning them but it might be a tough ask to win 5 games on the trot. We will likely drop unexpected points somewhere. Given our last 2 games are Liverpool and Wolves, we really need to be 4/5 points clear.
June 26, 20206 yr West Ham are on a particularly dire run of form (even by their/Moyes' standards) and we have our tails up after an impressive performance. Therefore it is pretty much set in stone that we're going to lose the next game 1-0.
June 26, 20206 yr Don’t have to worry about a fourth place finish if you finish third! Also all this praying for fourth feels a bit Arsenalish (yes we had the transfer ban, Hazard left blah blah blah - Arsenal always has excuse too!).
June 26, 20206 yr City are only 9 points ahead with 21 to play for and the FA Cup and CL to focus on. Just saying ????? Edited June 26, 20206 yr by EdinburghBlue
June 26, 20206 yr Liverpool better do us a favour and hand us 3 points! Crazy to think that we can easily finish 3rd, and possibly even 2nd depending on how City play the rest of their prem games as they'll be focused on CL and FA
June 27, 20206 yr Can see the top 4 race going right down to the final fixtures . Man u v Leicester Chelsea v Wolves Confident on 3rd spot for us now though after the city result.

Difference is Arsenal didn't adapt their expectations when they should have. It was the same targets when RVP, Cesc, Nasri etc hit their prime as what it was when they were kids. We will evolve and adjust our expectations accordingly, that's the difference.

It feels a bit stressful seeing that we actually have 3 wins in a row but still not much has changed since Wolves and ManU keep winning as well. It comes down to these 5 games now before we face Liverpool and Wolves, hopefully after Norwich we will be 3rd or at least have 7 points more than those two that are chasing us.

With leicester playing united on the last day, we could technically have already qualified if we can be 5 points clear of them both with 2 games left.
