Where are you getting this "goal contribution every 72 minutes" from ?

Every site I look at has him having played 144 minutes for one goal and no assists ?

Goal vs Fulham and assist vs City in 145 minutes of football.

I use transfermarkt (assuming RIP did as well) and they label winning a penalty as a goal scoring contribution (assist)

Ah ok. Don't see that on any of the other sites (including the official PL site) but fair enough.

I think it says a lot we're all hoping a guy who hasn't so far lit up the premiership and with a horror injury just behind him will light up our season.

Good player in the making, like the glimpses, but I think everyone needs to roll up their sleeves and fight, build a team character and show for each other. This team celebrate goals really individually at the minute. How dos poch develop team spirit and cohesion? Once he does this goals will flow for all our attackers.

What would you prefer, we hope hes sh*t?

Jackson isn't that poor in all honesty. I've been happy with him but Poch shouldn't be hesitant to rotate him with Broja when needed.

I think Poch will rotate them. He has shown willingness to give Broja playing time, and he has rightfully managed his time cautiously since the return from injury.

They could play together.

Even in Pochettinos preferred formation they could both play along with Nkunku as Broja preferred postion is as a 9, Jackson is a second striker coming off the left and Nkunku is as a 10.

Would mean more work for Enzo and Caicedo but may help our goalscorer issues.

I think that fans are placing unnecessary pressure on a player returning from a long term injury. I hope he's sh*thot in games and helps us stick the ball in the net.

Said on here there's room for him and Jackson in the side. We've yet to see if Nkunku can adapt to the premiership after his move or if he has recovered from his injury, there will be setbacks for him after returning. We need both Broja and Jackson...

Need to start giving him game time. We're gonna need him when Jackson goes away for the AFCON. Or are we going to sell him and try sign somebody in January and wait for another player to take months to settle?

Well you know the rumour mill needs to be taken with a pinch of salt, but supposedly it is Broja sold, Jackson to the AFCoN, Nkunku as our striker and Oshiman signed for next summer.

Also says we are in such a mess financially as we "expecting CL for next season was a given" and that's why Maatsen, Chalobah, Gallagher and Broja need to go to balance our FFP.

See if is all BS or has truth over the next seven months or so.

He did not look well when he came on, like he had been vomiting for 24 hours and was trudging his way through quicksand.

No wonder Pochettino left it that late to bring him on.

He's shown nothing either during his poor loan spell or here to suggest he's worth a spot in a Chelsea squad.

Clearlake will want to record the 100% book profit as well so hopefully he's gone in January.

Yeah he looks useless to be honest. I could see him in the championship next season

He hasn't had a lot of starts, but I agree he will almost certainly be one of those sold to balance the books.

Poor game from him, poor sub displays as well. Concerning.

Could be the ACL has hit him the way the Achilles injury hit CHO.

Nah, don't think that's fair at all. Personally I thought some of his short substitute appearances were good. He has been out for sooooooo long. It is obviously going to take time for him to get up to speed. I would be very careful about writing off Broja when he has hardly had any minutes on his return.

Agree and that is the problem. He need minutes, a lot of them to get his sharpness back. It will be a mess because the more he play the higher chance he will get injured.

He can be an impact sub for us but if he want to compete for starting spot, he need to go on loan somewhere. He won't get the minute here.

The problem of course is that our decision making in the loan market is about as stellar as our transfer dealings and on pitch performances.  Reading Simon Phillips blog on the loan army realistically 5 of these could easily be recalled in January as either injured or can't get a game. It's only really Hutchinson and Harvey Vale that are smashing it.

That said I do agree that a loan seems the sensible route for Broja. Same for Madueke if the rumoured sale is too hard or costly to complete.

I would give him a start today, just not getting much positives vibes from Jackson recently. He's never short of effort everytime he played, and that game against Fulham ( where he started ) was actually one of our better game so far.

Shocking miss from him today which was a shame as a goal would have done him the world of good. Overall I thought he played quite well in the 20 or so minutes he had from the bench.

Aye was a shame. He may need a loan to a side he will be a starter for to get over this injury. Don't think the few minutes he is getting here is enough.
