I honestly dont get why lamps loves Christensen so much. He is sooo weak and highly overated. Luckily for us Brighton dont have physical strikers but they will still be a threat when it comes to set pieces with their 3 big centre backs. Thankfully Ruben can add some height to our team during set pieces

That back 4 and keeper don't instill a lot of confidence, but we will see

So 4-3-3. Or 4-2-3-1 with Kante and Jorginho pivot.

If I was CHO I would be pretty disappointed however if I was RLC I would be over the moon.

Haven't seen Christensen lately, maybe he hits the gym now. But yeah it's tricky.

Interesting on RLC.  He must be training well!  Get slammed for this, but not a fan of RLC as I don't think he actually delivers anything on the pitch (the assist vs. Palace is all I remember).  I hope I'm wrong today though!

Feels like a big season for RLC. He needs to kick on from before his injury when he was one of our best players. 

Loftus-Cheek is back to his best after a scintillating performance.

I’m a big fan of his but I can see why people might underwhelmed by him. I feel like he doesn’t dominate games as much as he should and plays it safe too much. Under Sarri, he was fantastic. He needs to kick on now - he’s not a youngster.

Didn't Christensen get motm the other night for Denmark? He's obviously on a bit of a purple patch so maybe Lampard wants to give him a shot. Arguably better than Rudiger anyway. 

I think we're going to scrape a 3-2 or 4-3 win. Basically we are going to win by 1 goal but there's going to be great attacking football from us just a fragile defence. I think we are going to go 1 down early on but cruise to a comfortable lead before Brighton clawing it back to within 1 for a nervy last 5 mins

It is generally the foreign fans who give him stick. They seem to have an anti-English player agenda, even after last season. Then again, they are probably the same fickle, entitled fans who believe we should be signing every world class player in sight. I hate that about social media.

He played the same position in the preseason game against brighton. Its just Havertz for Ziyech , Zouma for Clark salter, Jorginho for Kovacic and Mount for odoi in that preseason game

Not surprised TBH, he hasn't shown enough for me...he still has a lot to prove to make the first 11.  Needs to work harder and although I keep reading he's still recovering form from his injury, if that was the case why has Frank played him the last couple of games and he came on for Young England?  Just not good enough for me right now.

Dave doesn’t start our opening game for the first time in God knows. Jorginho doesn’t have a great record with the armband either.
