He was quite reserved during it all, was at the back almost alone during the trophy lift.

Such an impact he's had at this club.

Not sure we'd have won the CL without his experience and leadership. Clearly raised the level of everyone around him as well as being top class himself.

 

We still gotta sign a new CB because T.Silva needs to rest more it's a long season, him and Kante need to be properly managed in order to not burn out.

Everyone wishing that Messi wins the Copa America...

 

What a player, no wonder that at his best he can be 50% of any team he plays for. He saved us when Mendy got beaten once, pure defending.

This was his first start for us since the CL final back in May.

He's turning 37 in like a week.

Thought he played really well yesterday. Especially in the first half. 

When the team was struggling he was often the one getting us out of the sh*t.

When the really, really big important games come round there are two players that should always be on the pitch for us. Kante and Silva.

The influence those two have on the players around them is immeasurable.

Have to manage them accordingly. For example neither should be used against Zenit so they are fresh for Spurs.

Get where you're coming from but we mustn't forget that Christensen has really stepped up playing in the middle of the three under Tuchel. 

Nice knowing there is quality and depth for the defence though and hopefully keeps players from being complacent expecting to be first choice every week.

Wouldve been motm even without the goal. He seems to love it here, I bet theres a part of him that wishes he ended up here sooner. Perfect fit.
