So which is it then? Do we look better because Kante came on? Or did we just concede after Kante came on? You conveniently give credit when it suits you then rip players a new one when it suits you. If Jorginho and Kovacic were still there you would ripping them for us conceding right now.

First half we outplayed them, not a great deal of chances but we still outplayed them.

We outplayed them based on what? Possession? We created about the same as they did in the first half.

When did I say we looked better when Kante came on? We were second best the entire second half.
so I criticise players when they play poorly and praise them when they do well ?? Imagine that, you can acknowledge both sides of a player!
Jorginho is there so if I wanted to rip in to him then I would, but as I just said. It’s not on the individual players - it’s on Frank. Personally don’t think we have a pivot good enough to play a 2 and dominate a game. We should be playing a 3.

Yeah that's absolute bollocks isn't it.

Not bollocks at all. When I think they play well and they have both had decent games in the past, I will say so. Right now, looking at our squad, I think both struggle to make the first 11, but it's horses for courses and everyone will get games.

It's always the same story. The defence has looked dodgy throughout the whole game, so it was inevitable that we would concede from a mistake, which is exactly what happened, as it always does with us. The attackers aren't innocent though. Werner, Hudson-Odoi then Mount's poor pass, these are all massive chances. At least one of them should have ended with a goal.

We won't see any improvements on last season if this is going to continue.

Well we just conceded with Kante in the side, so hardly a massive improvement then is it? But anything to get your agenda across.

Regardless how this ends, was a decent first 30 mins then we lost our way, allowed Spurs back in the game at the start of the 2nd half and never recovered; maybe because we have a lot of younger players but we were totally flat coming out for the 2nd half and some head scratching subs TBH.  This team should have been enough to beat a 2nd string Spurs side though.  I think we are going to be in pain for a number of weeks yet until Frank (if he's capable) of sorting the defence out.

So long as Abraham and Odoi are kept well away from the pens we may have a chance.

I wouldn't trust them to do anything. Disgraceful players.

Abraham will prob take a miss his and then look to the skies like it's someone else's fault, like usual.
