we are playing such a disorganized, sloppy,. ugly football.. every time the opposition has the ball we look in disarray, 3 or 4 players running for the the same ball / opposition player, and we look completely out of shape at every opposition attack.

James is really maturing into a world class player. Love it.

In the first 30 minutes Burnley had no confidence, they played so dreadful. Ziyech took well his goal, nice touch by Abraham in the assist. 

Mount is looking fantastic in the midfield, that's his position, not on the wing. Werner is little struggling, even when he gets in the center.

1-0 is not enough, we need to double our score and gain full confidence to complete the game and get the 3 points. 

We need more shooting outside the box, more attempts to score. Burnley are closing down and putting 8 players in the box to win headers. We need to use our quality in front and push for more attempts to score.

Game ain't over yet, COME ON CHELS!!!!

Chelsea need to finish them game off in the first 15 minutes of the second half. Need to focus more on ground  passing as wind appears to be effecting aerial passes. 

Controlled performance so far. Created some decent opportunities and apart from Zouma misreading the flight of the ball for the Barnes chance, we have hardly given them a sniff.

I think they've both played really well? Havertz does better going forward. 

I’m sure Burnley will come out stronger in the second half. We will need to be careful and not give away sloppy goal. 

Would get CHO on during the 60 min to add more to attack as surely burnley will  start to tire.

overall we have been okish, though zouma at times worries me l.

 

 

I like this mode of play... very safe.. Mendy makes it look so easy

I wonder who made sure Mount had all of the space?

I hope CHO comes on to replace Werner soon because Werner sure looks like he could do with a rest. 

Mount did very well, glad he is finally played in the middle where he belongs. 

Crossing was terrible but I guess the wind conditions are very difficult too so that might be the reason.

It’s like beehive soccer with young lads. Too many players going into the same spaces. Not what you expect from a top club. 

First time i have seen Richard Keys in years and years, still a total toss pot i see.

Just read that Pulisic hurt his ankle in a rondo, doesn’t sounds serious I don’t think, probably precautionary.

Pulisic would've loved it today with the space Werner has been getting at times, really depressed me that he picked up a knock.

Yes, they showed the clip on US halftime show. He was ripped and he immediately took off his pinney and walked off the field. 

Coming in late for this one ... why do we have two goalkeepers on the bench ? Was Ziger the only other player that travelled North and thus the only one that could be named after Pulisic got injured in the warm up ?

I'm streaming.. I've got peacock atm and they just showed what happened. He seemed to slip but looks like he might of rolled his ankle, didn't look great but to me (and I'm no doctor) but only looks like a week out

It’s like Lamps fixes an issue (see Mount in the middle) and then springs a leak somewhere else. No idea what Havertz is doing on the flanks with Ziyech in the middle. You then have Werner roaming and not sticking to the left, when CHO would have been a smarter replacement for Pulisic.
