This is one of those matches that are just frustrating bc the chances are they but Chelsea are just not on top of it yet

We've been a touch unlucky first half, Leeds have made a few last ditch tackles and got lucky.

ok so the start was a shocker but we've been very close to scoring 3 or 4 times - think we can finish them off second half

He lost the ball once and made 1 bad pass, basically Mount did the same thing. Not having a winger on that side did affect that. Still I think Kovacic should come on, Kai is playing deeper now so it's basically Kovacic position.

If we were clinical today we'd be 4-1 up. I feel we need to control the pace of the game a little bit better. This is a one goal game I feel. 

 

Need to step this up big time second half, surrendered possession, don’t have control of the midfield, luckily just enough quality at the moment to get away with it, maybe they’re feeling pressure to perform with the crowd there. 

That was a frustrating half to watch. We should be in front, but our lack of ruthlessness at crucial times is still an issue.

Mount and Havertz have been really poor too. Havertz is giving it away too much and isn't involved enough. Mount is involved more, but his touch and passing has been terrible, he's losing pretty much every tussle as well.

Is it worth taking Havertz off at HT? Taking him off could really affect his confidence because he must know he's having a nightmare. But it's 1-1, we need to score and every time he has the ball he's making the wrong decision. Also I feel as though the Leeds midfield aren't having a difficult time here, I think putting Kovacic on at HT is the right answer for the short term, but not sure about the long term. 

CHO is just not rated by the gaffer, not sure why we need both Jorg and Kova while CHO doesnt get a look in, at least his a natural winger who can play on both wings.

Apart from Giroud and Mount, our attacking players have been poor. They need to step it up.

Havertz is awful, he's the worst player on the pitch.

We're so clumsy in the final third, great goal was taken by Giroud but now without Ziyech we seems like struggling. Leeds gave us few chances we had to take them all. We worth 3-1 here.

If Abraham would have put performance like Werner's the reaction he will get would be much worse. Anyways, I really hope we will improve ourselves in the second half because we need to win this game and we have the ability to do it. 

The first half wasn't that good by us, it was very lively from both sides but we could be in lead. Let's hope we won't pay for these errors.

Great game of football. Havertz for me not busy enough. Nice to see fans back. Got to take our chances.

And done nothing of note either offensively or defensively outside of that.

He's had a shocker, he's been underwhelming in general for us and we have looked a lot better with Kovacic in midfield. It's a no brainer of a decision.

Lost the ball once? He's lost the ball at least 3 or 4 times in that half and keeps making the wrong decision. He sat there and waited for that Rafina to tackle him but luckily managed to reclaim the ball off him once he fell over. It's happening every time he gets the ball, he's struggling out there, worst player on the pitch by a distance. 

I would tell Mount to play as RW and take off Werner personally, Kovacic in for Werner and keep Havertz in the middle.

That’s a good shout, we need a bit of bite we have better quality than them just don’t have their intensity or bite .... we got to want this more is dirty Leeds FFS

Kovacic should have started this game  there is no doubt about it. This is the perfect game for him and Havertz was always going to be overwhelmed by how Leeds plays.

I don't think Lamps is the kind to do that to a player, problem is he can sometimes leave them on for too long as well. For the sake of the game it absolutely is the right decision to take him off though.
IIRC I think Lamps has only made a half time sub once so far? Or never?

Terrible from Zouma as well, dragged out wide like that, ball watching, he has that in him unfortunately, Silva looked confused. 

Very entertaining half of football. Have to say, Leeds do play some good stuff and are causing us problems.

But we look stronger and should be ahead. Hope Leeds keep over-playing at the back as we will punish them. Early sub this half please Frank as our "Rolls Royce" of a footballer is currently performing more like an Austin Allegro.

Havertz was involved in our goal actually. Kovacic should enter the game but people are way too harsh on Havertz here.

Can’t stand Bamford either haha, maybe I’m harsh but he annoys me.
