Well a flattering scoreline / result all things considered.  I'm not sure what the answer is for us to play decent football or whether the injuries played a part in tonights performance.  Our new signings, apart from Chillwell appear to be struggling and Werner can't hit a barn door at the moment. Today seemed so disjointed, bad passing and hanging on defensively at times; Hopefully we will see a much improved performance on Boxing Day.

Really glad we put 3 past them in the end. Hoping that will do our confidence a world of good.

He's just a bit jelly that Kovacic can't start 2 games in a row so he tries to take it out on whoever is there, e.g. Jorginho, Havertz... I feel so happy that we won I predicted a 3:2 I never expected a clean sheet.

We looked unbalanced and lacking confidence throughout, fortunately Spammers weren't good enough to take advantage.

Hopefully Chilwell's injury is minor, Emerson just doesn't give enough going forward and with James injured too our potency going forward is severely diminished

Makes a nice change to win when we haven't played well

Missed the first half and stream went Awol for 5.

Abraham took his goals well.

Having none of our first choice WBs meant we needed to play it more through the middle and seemed to work for us today. 

Azpi looks slow defensively though West Ham were unable to capitalise and had their own problems needing to play Noble.

Azpi was clever about choosing when to go forward probably recalling Ivanovich's decline.

Taking off Jorginho was a good move as twice in the spell I was watching he was passed the ball and didn't react giving away possession. 

Kovacic looked good today.

Mendy showed good judgment at times dealing with crosses.

Werner was better today though missed at least one chance by using his right when it should have been his left. 

Mount was involved a lot yet was also lucky not get carded, IMO.

Emerson played a part and didn't notice any errors today.

Zouma looked a bit shaky a couple of times. 

Good three points though for me West Ham were poor and it's nice to be back ahead of the Spuds.

This is true, however i still think that this possession stuff is all a bit of a fallacy. We are far better when we counter attack. The only extra thing that we have added is our set piece finishing. Maybe he should be rested for a little while and brought on as a sub when there is more space for the last half an hour until he gets his eye in again.

Great to get the win but lots of concerns here. Honeymoon period over for Werner and Mendy as well as Havertz. Mendy not convincing and Werner replicating Morata who also had a great start. Why does Werner keep trying to run through people and why can he now not finish - three misses tonight ... you knew he wasn’t going to score with the chance at the end. Mount was great and Kova looked sharp when he came on. However, a decent win and another against the Arse and we’re back on it ...

I always hate seeing a West Ham fixture around this time of the year. Similarly I hate seeing us playing Moyes about this time of the year. Bad combo especially after two losses. We made it hard for ourselves, but we got the job done in a very tricky fixture.

Our corners have been our saving grace this year. Lovely to see. Credit to Tammy for poaching two late on as well.

Not many more positives but who cares, a win is a great Christmas gift. Onwards to inflict more suffering on Arsenal after boxing day!

Bit of a reality check. We might have to play some games with Emerson and Azpi. I love Azpi but he isn't the player he was and they are two full=backs who would struggle to get in any other top side.

Just so thankful we have Silva and Mendy as if tonight we had Rudiger and Kepa then that would have been a defeat - no question about it.

Honestly, think we were quite poor tonight. The scoreline flatters us but hopefully that is the kick we need. We were poor throughout large parts of that game. But on positive side the defence remained steady. I think if Antonio had played, the game may have been well different. Haller looked so lethargic. I breathed a huge sigh of relief when I saw Antonio out. Azpi looked rusty but guess not too surprised when you consider that James has been the prominent RB. Praying to god that Chilwell's injury is not serious. Scoreline like I said is harsh on West Ham but Rice was top class. His passing has really gone top notch also.

Bring on Arsenal!

Werner will get his goals as the season goes on. I think he looks frustrated n\but still very determined. Kovacic helped but basically I was hopeful our class would come through in the last 10 minutes 

our strength in the air at the baxk this season is terrific. And Emerson was solid enough. Rarely lost the ball. Sure he us no game turner but solid enough.
