I can understand him playing this way against bigger teams but against the lower table teams would really like to see him integrate the attacking midfielders in. I see the way Spurs battered Burnley today. Presumably Daniel James was selected with the idea that Alonso would be starting? Either way it certainly doesn't scream 'we're going to try and dominate possession'.

I also assume Kanté was selected knowing that Man Utd are particularly good at exploiting slow-buildup opponents on the counter attack. Should be interesting. Big game for Christensen.
