That's a Fact and I agree with you. 

I have no problem if many players of Middlefield and Forward is leaving us, still sure that young players and new ones will be an Upgrade to actual one. 

Unbelievable that Mount is the only Dangerous one if you think what we invest last year and now get this piss what we have with vertical pass in and out.

The mad thing is that just like last season, just finishing top 4 will feel like a bit of an anti-climax now even though it’s a good achievement. Winning cl was a pipe dream but to miss out on the fa cup twice to inferior teams is a kick to the mid-section.

We beginning to get to be a Tottenham level team...bottlers in the big games.  Sorry Jorghino has to go in the summer along with Ziyech, (totally waste of money he simply doesn't work hard enough very much like CHO), Dave has to leave or be benched (God bless him) and one or two others.  The team missed Kovacic today, hopefully he is fit for the midweek game which will end in a bore draw. I'm not holding my breath for the CL final which will take it 5 losses out of 7 finals 😡

Another thing, probably why I'm so p***** off.  I'm of an age where the FA Cup meant a lot.  Of course, give a choice of the FA cup of Champs League, I'll take the latter.  But I'm not being defeatest but I don't really think we  have a chance against City.  Really wanted the FA cup, top 4 and then if we lose against City I would have still said a an excellent season. Once we'd gotten over the loss to City, we'd still have 4th and an FA Cup to show for the season.  Silverware every year, whatever it is, is a good habit to get into.....

Of course we should want to win every game and I wouldn’t expect anything less. However we have to acknowledge that football has changed. The FA cup is no longer the biggest prize. As sad as it is, achieving top 4 is a bigger reward (not achievement, reward) than winning the fa cup.

I was shocked to read that we’ve lost 8 of our 11 finals. That is so poor. No wonder the board feel that we need to get closer to City and Liverpool

Okay I should have know this wasn't the best place to visit if you're feeling a little depressed.  Anyway I blame the new kit, burn it now and make a new one for the CL final or even better just bring out the 2012 kit, old names and all.  

Just noticed if you reverse the last 2 numbers in 2012 you get 2021, its written in the stars.

Well on top of seeing Leicester lift the fa cup, hopefully the chelsea players see the clip of Leicester’s Amartey throwing a Chelsea pennant to the floor in a disrespectful/mocking fashion at Wembley tonight and get fired up to make amends.

A good clear out is needed, without going into any detailsof any sort, Drinkwater, Rahamn, Barkley, Bakayoko, Moses, Kenedy for example.

Surely a quick flash fire sale of just these lot would surely bring in around £60 million pounds and save a ton on wages?

You could probably bring in a Rice or a Grealish for example just by clearing out the deadwood.

LBH win lose or draw VAR has ruined top flight football. Not just today but very prem game it comes in and some faceless ref with zero accountability makes these kind of decisions, it’s taken all the joy out of celebrating and when you boil it all down isn’t that the point of it, going to games and going mental when your team scores. Not anymore just a stifled pause until the aforementioned faceless ref decides.  Well they can keep it, not stopping a lifetime habit , but today and the last few VAR seasons have taken the gloss off the joy of watching ones team and other top games big time.

There is no way Kepa is at fault for the 2 defeats . A brainfart by Zouma and Jorghino against Arsenal and  not  one defender in position to block a shot by the Leicester player today. As much as I think Mendy should be our 1st choice keeper I don't think Kepa should be a scapegoat.

It’s not that simple, as was shown last summer. Chelsea have dross on big wages and clubs don’t have as much money to buy them due to Covid.

They now state: Accidental handball that leads to a team-mate scoring a goal or having a goal-scoring opportunity will no longer be considered an offence.

Under current rules, it looks like the ref was correct not to give that as handball. Clearly unintentional as it bounced up off his leg.

I agree that Kepa possibly was not at direct faults for those two goals and two defeats. It just seems like him at goal disbalances our stability at the back for some reason. With Mendy it feels our rearguard is more secure. My point is that if Mendy played against Arsenal maybe he wouldn't have been at that position where Kepa was and that goal wouldn't have happened. In regards to today's goal, Mendy being a much taller guy might have handled that shot better or was positioned better.  Everytime Kepa is in goal I feel like we are more vulnerable. It's just a feeling.I know we spend lots of money on Kepa and possibly there is a good goalie there, but at this point of the season I want to see first choice keeper in all games.

I'm implying that the offside wasn't correct - by your analogy the speed camera isn't working properly.

You are correct. That update came in on 5th March. The paper I quoted was dated 5th March, so it was changed the same day. 

Today was the first day ever that Chelsea made my (6 year old) son cry. 10 mins after the game, my wife found him upstairs crying because we lost.  Perhaps he needs to toughen up....perhaps I don't care as much as him!

I was raging at full time. I have now calmed down and reflected.

First up, congrats to Leicester. I thought that they did well, and nullified us. They scored a cracking goal, and stopped us making many chances. Enjoy the win.

Now Chelsea......

- This was yet another game where we clearly demonstrated we have no plan B. Bringing on a 50 yr old Frenchman to hoof it up to with 10 mins to go is a joke. Even then, we hardly get any crosses into him.

- We generally seem to have 2 ways of playing. 1) the all action, buzzing about, energetic style in which we played against Madrid. A style that creates a lot of chances 2) the sit back, slowly slowly, knock it around the defenders, inch up to the pen box, knock it back to the midfield approach. Rinse repeat. Style 1 seems to work well. Style 2 worked in the cup semi final against city, but doesn't create enough chances for us to score many.

- Against Arsenal and Leicester today, we were far too one dimensional. Far to boring. Far to negative. We created nothing for our strikers. Speculative shots for outside the box are a shameful return for all the possession we had. Simply put, this team is clueless and has no idea how to break down teams.

- Coupled to our bluntness up front, is the habit we are getting back into of making mistakes that gift opponents goals. City had Christensen karate kick at the ball that led to the goal, and the Zouma tumble over sterling, that thankfully we were let off on. Arsenal had the backpass. Today had Reece, inexplicably passing it straight to their midfielder, leading directly to the goal. We used to put such errors on Frank, and once TT cam in, they seemed to have been cut out. But they are back, and they are costing us.

- Too many players today didnt offer a damn thing. Alonso was anonymous. Jorginho was back to his 5 yrd worst. Kante was back to being disruptive and didnt push forward. Mount seems incapable of playing a through ball onto Werner. Werner seems incapable of playing any pass and always takes the wrong decision (shooting when he should pass, passing when he should shoot etc). Ziyech, well I think Ziyech was on the pitch.  Simply not good enough.

We didn't create enough. I recall only 1 real save from Kasper, from the mount shot in the last 5 mins. We also had the header onto the post. That isnt enough in a cup final. Those crying handball are grasping at straws, no way was it handball. Those crying VAR offside also need to stock take, this is nothing new, until they change the rules this close calls will continue to happen.

We have hit bad form at a bad time. I fear the worst.

I thought we were outplayed all over the pitch today for most of the game.  It hurts to say it but Leicester earned that win.

Ok. However, the statement that offside wasn't correct is just your opinion and a wishful thinking, not a fact. We were not convincing and a fluke goal decided the encounter, simple as.  I hope Tuchel does not overthink on Tuesday and leaves Timo, Jorgi and Zyiech on the bench.
