Well as well documented I wouldn't have signed him in the first place, the stylistic mis match was so obvious (we literally had a similar player who we sold because he didn't fit the system).

I think many opposition managers (especially the big team one's) would rather face us with Rom full stop than without (Allegri practically said as much).

Nope the fit is obvious. I have mr Tuchel as my backer because Lukaku is his signing

True..

To put it another way will any other top4 club in EPL take him if we sold him at a cut price deal of 70m?

If you stretch to top6 spuds might if conte insist..

LOL.

United will take him in a heartbeat but they won't sign him it will make them look like an idiot.

Arsenal will take him in a heartbeat.

Pool has too many forwards.

Kane is much better fit for city.

West Ham will take him in a heartbeat

Spurs has Kane but if Kane leaves, with eyes closed.

When’s he making a public apology?

Tbh, Gary Neville is right, he’s spoken from his heart and shouldn’t say anything now because there is nothing he can say. Ourselves and the wider footballing community will just roll our eyes and it will further add fuel to the fire. There is literally nothing he can say to fix it, so it’s good decisions all round from Chelsea, nice big fine too.

Tuchel's a great coach but his record in the market has been historically so so.

You only need to look at our other summer signing as further evidence of that.

Arteta has just banished a better forward for something not even half as bad.

Doubt Arsenal would, they are actually operating ‘begrudgingly’ to say, rather shrewdly in the market and shaping that squad how Areta sees fit. Playing good football for the most part and are currently after Vlahovic of Fiorentina.

I thought Saul was a club decision rather than a TT request ... what did I miss ?

A loan backup signing in deadline day is kinda irrelevant, he was probably offerred to us by his agent.

So you basically said that you are better analyzing this team need and player than Tuchel.

I don't watch enough of auba game to judge but based on few games that I watched arse play,He will take Lukaku with eyes closed.

I don't know about their money situation but they will take lukaku in a heart beat.

Here is a simple fact about Lukaku.

Conte, Tuchel and Mou all of them wanted rom in their team. All of them spent big money to get him. Unless you think 3 of the best managers that have ever coached chelsea do not know what they are doing then the one who can't asses player is you.

Seriously?

By that logic anyone who has ever questioned any decision made by a manager ever (which is every single football fan on the planet) think they're better than them.

Newcastle United? Ofcourse why wouldn't they?

If its the United in Manchester they already experienced the pleasure of having him..

Arsenal - I don't think they will.

Westham - I think they will and could be the right level too..

Pool and City wouldn't touch him with a bargepole imo.. They need someone lot better on the ball for their system to work..

Looked a bit awkward. I don't know what to make of it. I could have lived without it. Let's move on.

Is what it is right? Only Rom knows if he meant that, if he got carried away in the other interview and said the wrong things there, if he meant what he said on our club channel interview or if he was made to do it etc.

Different people will take it different ways.

Much as I did not want him back, don't think we will win major honors while he is a main player here and think his ego is far top big compared to his ability, I will continue to support him as I have since he came back. Is part of what we signed up for as Chelsea fans, support the team and manager even when we don't agree with them.

Yes only he will know that..

The best way out of this mess as a fan (atleast for me) is to believe he is really sorry..

Anyway I appreciate that he apologised promptly..Let's move on and support our player..

Lets hope it works out on the pitch for us..

Wasn’t necessary for me, preferred the silence, interesting he said Roman for the people not happy, strange thing to mention, “the board”.. sure, “the manager”.. sure, but “the owner”.. 🤔

Arms folded in defence mode the entire interview, more bullsh*t PR when the Sky Italia interview still contradicts it no matter how he twists and turns the meaning. Well anyway, as mentioned, won’t root for him like a Mount, academy boy or an Azpi but he’s here so we’ll have to get on with it.

Puts to bed the whole idea that Roman would back him over tuchel though because Lukaku cost a bit of money
