No strikers. Lukau, Werner and Havertz COVID?

All Covid?

SO Werner Lukaku and Havertz and ODOI have the covid... daeem.. All attackers

Werner and Havertz not double jabbed so have to isolate?

Starting line up is still OK and Kante on the bench. 

 

Can see all this weekend's games cancelled owing to high Omnicon numbers...

Well, they don't score often anyway 

Well the four players we are missing who didn't previously have known injuries/illnesses are Lukaku, Werner, Hudson-Odoi and Havertz.

This is deeply frustrating, we're now as thin in attack as we are in midfield. Although saying that, the fact that we can still field Ziyech, Pulisic and Mount despite missing four attackers of that quality is really quite something. I suppose that was what people were talking about when lauding our squad depth.

On the other hand, Everton have been pretty well gutted:

Wonder why he hasn’t promoted a few youngsters to the 1st team. Our game changer if we need one is Barkley, surely there is some quality in Cobham

Bare bones up front and nothing on the bench to change up the front three !

Biggest problem is the lack of a #9.  Looks like they will put Pulisic there but #9 is far from his ideal spot and he tends to get swallowed up by the much larger CB's.

Old boy Begovic visits us again, that's nice. 

At least we’re not using it as an excuse to bottle our fixtures unlike a certain north London based bunch of c**ts. 

This is how a season gets screwed   A game every 3 days and half the team missing, and then unfit. Plenty of ready made excuses now. The back 3 are looking old,except Rudigier.

Yikes what happened to them?

That bench doesn't offer much going forward. Not sure what other options there are anyway

The crazy thing is that most of their absentees are just injured. Going through their squad it appears that they have the same number of 'unaccounted for' absentees as us (four):

Richarlison - injured
Calvert-Lewin - injured
Digne - injured
Mina - injured
Townsend - injured
Davies - injured
Delph - unknown, presumably COVID
Gray - unknown, presumably COVID
Tosun - unknown, presumably COVID
Rondón - unknown, presumably COVID
Sigurdsson - ephebophilia

That is at least six of their starting XI, and bar Pickford and Doucouré, arguably six of their outstanding players.

I have no idea how you would reconcile this with the already 'Tube during rush hour'-like fixture schedule, but this match really shouldn't go ahead.

We tend to play better without a focal point. Lets just hope Pulisic has his shooting boots on tonight because he will have chances 

the only attacking sub we have is barkley on as false 9 

Really concerning none of our prolific strikers are all unavailable.  They have like 6 goals between them - we're in trouble 🙃

Alonso will score tonight! Everton are in poor form and the team is decent apart from the fact we have no striker. Think we can do this

what are the rules for bringing in youngsters? can we fill the bench with youth players for the Wolves game?
