                     Kante   Jorginho

I'm all for changing the formation, but I would play literally anybody over Alonso at left back in a back 4. He's struggling in a back 3 these days and he gets a lot more protection in that formation, change to a back 4 and he will be even more exposed.

Do we even have another option at this point? Who would you suggest? The only alternative may be Sarr but he's a liability.

I would move a winger or midfielder like Saul there. It's not ideal, but Alonso cannot play in a back 4, he gets destroyed every time.

Can always play Hall there. Has played LB and LWB before.

       Kepa

azpi - silva - rudiger- hall

Mount-kante-kovacevic

        Kai

werner. - lukaku

all the others wingers should be left out of the team. No more using Pulisic or ziyech on the wrong side and Odoi out.

sarr is not good at passing rather have Hall on the left with rudiger

Now has to be the time for TT to work out his best team. He must now realise that Ziyech and Pulisic are never going to make it, while Alonso is … Alonso! I don’t know what the answer is to the LWB or LB problem, but it ain’t Alonso!

it also worries me that Lukaku is going to join the long list of big name strikers we have signed who just never made it … a list that includes Sheva, Torres, Falcao, Morata, Higuain, Kezman, Sutton, Mutu etc … in fact a shorter list comprises those who have made it - Drogba and, arguably, Crespo and Anelka?

let’s remember that Klopp and Pep have been in the job for many years now, plenty time to build a great team, whereas TT has only been here for a year!
