When we were still trying for the title every league game was a cup final. The city result killed off our title chances, we are not pulling back 13 points on them.

Now we are aiming for top 4, and we don't have to win every game to achieve that. We have played more games than anyone else and the players are in overload.

For TT to keep his job in don't think top 4 is enough. He will need success in cups too, probably at least the club world cup and league cup too.

Yes the title is gone and if we are aiming for top 4, playing a weakened team against Brighton just to rest players for Spurs is a big gamble. The Spurs game is no guaranteed 3 points in any fashion  so there is no point making it harder vs Brighton. Play our strongest line up to gain confidence and momentum.

Top 4 will definitely be enough for TT to keep his job, I have no doubt about that. The board know he has been hard done by with Covid, Injuries and the Lukaku situation plus what City are doing is hard to keep up with. If we turned a few recent draws into wins, we would still be behind them, they are that good.

We have a super cup in the bag, and hopefully a world club cup to come. If we don't get top 4 then he will be sacked and rightfully so however I cannot see that happening at all.

If we win against Brighton yes it does build confidence. So long as we do win.

Hopefully we don't have to find out if top 4 is enough and we land top 4 plus a cup or few.

Tuchel needs a win

Did not need to add the Brighton part mate. 4 wins for 12 league games, previous managers was stackable form so we need to start winning for his sake.

I like Bob starks idea of him going to right forward, cause he is useless as a target man.

Be happy to see a front 3 of:

Rom---Havertz/Mount

Timo

Lamptey's fit to start so it's probably a good idea for Alonso to sit this one out or we'll be in for another horror show.

Given Lamptey took out James last time qe faced them we best play someone expendable there.

Also worth remembering the best player from either side from the game at the bridge, Yves Bissouma, is at the ACoN.

He is their best player full stop. Top player.

I'd go 4-2-3-1 for this one

KEPA

AZPI, SILVA, RUDIGER, SARR

JORGINHO, KOVACIC

CHO, MOUNT, WERNER

HAVERTZ

We need to stop with the 5 at the back against teams we should be beating and go for it... Teams expect us to have possession and slow transitional play...we need to have a certain unpredictability about our game..

Alonso sitting out is always a good idea.

Important game. Anything less then a win and we are in a proper race for Top 4.

3 points nothing else will do............although we'll likely end up with one 😢

Worried about this game. Brighton are a tough side to break down.

Just have to win this. Can't afford to be dragged into a scrap with Spurs, Arsenal, West Ham and United for top 4 spots.
