February 5, 20224 yr Timo has now firmly established himself as the worst and dumbest player ever in Chelsea history.

February 5, 20224 yr Zyech and Kepa joint MOTM, Dave and Alonso kudos for their goals, Kova was unlucky but tried. The rest wanna take a lesson from less skillful lower league players who at least have grit and heart and want to play for their badge. The worst Lumpkaku closely followed by Temos cameo performance.

No one in the universe will match his wages so we'll have to punt him out of loan and cover a share of his wages to get rid of him. February 5, 20224 yr We are supposed to be European Champions…our game management was atrocious Some of our players need to look at themselves Werner showed us all why he isn’t in the team even though a misfiring Lukaku is equally poor Azpi showed endeavour throughout…he at least had some fire and showed our supposedly forward players how it’s done Kepa is good at penalties Plymouth though deserve their plaudits…they showed what the cup is about and why so many of us love the old trophy

February 5, 20224 yr We’ll, that was utter garbage and despite winning, they should be ashamed of themselves. And as for Lukaku, Werner, CHO, Havertz, Pulisic and Ziyech. They all make my blood boil. Between the six of them there is an acceptable performance about once every four games. There are people in this country who have worked hard all their lives wondering whether to eat or turn their heating on and Werner is getting a couple of hundred grand a week for drifting around like a fart in a bottle. February 5, 20224 yr Take the positives from the game...we needed a good run out after a 2 week lay off...Kepa and Ziyech looked good again...and ultimately, we're in the next round and still fighting on 5 fronts...

I've backed a lot of attackers but there are a few that just aren't good enough for this level. Personally I'd move Lukaku and Timo on and build around Mount, Havertz, CHO and Pulisic. Ziyech can also be a big player for us, he seems to turn up in big games. Really disappointed because I like Timo I think he tries hard but it seems like a move would help reinvigorate his career. Lukaku on the other hand needs to go he's made us a worse team.

February 5, 20224 yr The performance was as good as I have come to expect. The fact is we are sh*t going forward. We are slow, predictable, careless and unimaginative. That was all on show today, against a mid table league 1 side. I dont see other top sides take as many touches of the ball as our players do. The pass forward, make runs, and zip the ball around. We by contrast give it one of our defenders, who has 5 touches, knocks it to another defender, who passes to kova, who runs with it 5 meters, before passing sideways to jorgi, who knocks it to CHO, who dribbles it, faces up to his man, and then goes backwards....we then switch sides and try the same with ziyech...It is the same dross game in game out. It started years ago, I forget when, maybe jose 2 or Conte...maybe before. But it is something we have not been able to knock out of ourselves. Where is the directness (is that word?), the pace, the invention, the fluidity, the movement? Lukaku is a waste of space. Those calling for Tammy are out of their minds - he was no better. Kai and Timo cant get a start for love nor money Puli is a 1 game on, 9 games off player Ziyech is a luxury, albeit, our brightest light at the moment (not saying much) CHO is toothless. So, as I say, grinding out wins is the best I can currently hope for. Certainly not seeing anything that points to progression.
February 5, 20224 yr Well that was hard work! Got more frustrating as it went on, our wastefulness in the final third really quite shocking, started to feel like was going to penalties - in the end was just the one pen late on to Plymouth, great it was saved, but really was us scrapping over the finish line. Lots to work on in terms of performances, but still at least a win in the end and on to the 5th round - plus was good being back at The Bridge.
February 5, 20224 yr Every game I hope Lukaku proves me wrong but he keeps getting worse. Just so sad that we are stuck with him for 5 years... as we learnt with Torres. It is difficult to move older strikers on huge wages

This should be pinned on the changing room wall.
