Surprised Lukaku is not starting. Havertz is our key man atm yes, but he and Werner started both games for Germany during international break and Lukaku had the international break free, so you imagine would be a lot fresher and has a point to prove. Not to underestimate Brentford, but this is a game ewe should be winning even if we don't play our 'best team'. Would have rather seen Havertz rested for the Real game.

Indeed seems a rather odd choice to me too. Guess we will see of it works against Real in midweek.

Both Havertz and Werner are in form, Lukaku isn't. You don't just cut their momentum off like that. This is the most important game right now, we can think about Real in two and a half hours. Anything before that would be a cause for concern. Top 4 isn't secured yet.

Anyway, great lineup. 2-0 us, the aforementioned German duo securing the win with first half goals.

We could do with a few others stepping up their game like Havertz and Ziyech has done now were getting to the thick end of the season,

I agree but Lukaku didn't even show that he wanted his spot back.  If he had an elite mentality he would have stayed back at Cobham during the break and worked his socks off but he went to Miami with ziyexh during the break..

Lukaku is just not what we thought he is . He had to be pushed by Conte to be great. The great ones push themselves and don't need others to push them .

Hopefully the first thing the new owners do is get this cancer out of our club
