To be fair to Anthony Taylor (and that feels so so wrong LOL) he's already allowed 50 seconds of extra play on top of the allotted 10 minutes of added time ... not Taylor's fault that South Korea weren't able to find an equaliser in the 32+ minutes they had available since Ghana's 3rd goal ...

Another dig at Jorginho? There is no need, Sergio Busquets is the sole reason why Rodri is playing CB for Spain and he's staying and sitting his whole career.

Brazil look like a proper team this time around. I think in recent world cups, they have been playing with passion instead of using their heads.

An elite DM actually has the tactical awareness and intelligence to determine when to sacrifice space to push up. 

It's the very reason Kante failed as a sole DM given some are under the impression this tactical awareness and intelligence can be learned overnight, when in reality it is something a player must take the time to develop.

Listen to the commentators waxing lyrical about a brilliant glancing header from Ronaldo. Bruno Fernandes puts an amazing ball in, Ronaldo clean air headers it and somehow gets all the credit.

These refs are w**k. No common sense anymore.

I'd be interested to see the offside check for the first Cameroon goal, looked way offside if the scorer didn't believe he was on. Having said that, concede the same goal twice in 2 minutes was ridiculous.

Don't think AT did much wrong on the final corner, but there looked handball ( accidental or not) for the first Ghana goal.

Let's hope we aren't signing players based on WC, otherwise Jordan Ayew be in.

If what this guy is saying is true then we another big problem in our hand. Fifa ref basically does not understand their own rule. I completely understand if it is real time but there is 0 excuse for var.

Unlike you, I'm not particularly impressed having closely watched both of their games. I didn't see many solutions possible in the attacking phase. Part of that was of course very good compact defending of Switzerland (and Serbia in the 1st half), but still they didn't seem so resolute and creative when attacking, especially without Neymar.

All they tried yesterday were constant long balls from centre backs to Vinicius, for him to play 1v1 against Widmer, which wasn't very successful as most of the time he was well marked. Their biggest strength is certainly their defense, which may be the best at the tournament, but we shall wait and see how they fare against stronger opponents...
