Pundits saying the players will be getting some harsh words from Tuchel right now.........I'm sure he has been doing that a lot of late. It doesn't work, this squad doesn't respond to harsh words because they are a bunch of cowards. When things are tough, every single one of them hide, and then it drags on until the manager is sacked.

Not just today but in general he's doing much better in the season, although I'd like to see them in normal non bouncy cars.

He gets the air-time though as he is trying to overtake Gasly to be 13th 🤣. Something positive to Mercs after their downfall this season.

We are just a dire attack no matter who we buy, its a trend at the club irrespective of the manager or players. Opposing teams are just too comfortable sitting back. Are the players coached to look for the safe sideways/backwards pass ?

It feels like 2014 football when Utd finally stopped being dominant, wouldn't surprise me if they came back next season though, they have a great engineering team

Only a early goal at the second half can wake me up.

Coffee can't help me cause I'm fasting.

Come on Mount, only you can do it today Happy Premier League GIF by DAZN

You have to take the situation of the season into consideration. The squad is tired, PL doesn't give us anything this season. Mere battle for 4th doesn't inspire a Squad that won CL, SuperCup and Club World Cup. That is the reality. We can see the team play at its level next time in the FA Cup final. That is a fact.

Yes - she's definitely my favourite in the squad LOL.

Awful excuses. Excuses I expect to see used for a team full of losers.

Words don't motivate any more, actions do. Like being dropped, or seeing Lukaku warm up.

A few thoughts:

- The game has been a lot more stable and controlled than the match against Arsenal. Aided not insignificantly by West Ham sitting deep and Silva starting.
- Jorginho has seen oddly little of the ball. This seems like the exact scenario where he'd have a huge amount of possession. So far he he's had fewer touches than even Loftus-Cheek(!)
- Front three have been rubbish bar the odd moment of magic (sort of) from Werner. Kanté has been our best attacking player (in intent if not in execution) which says a lot.

Lukaku warming up is motivating?

Tuchel's tactic is to rely on full-backs. Can't do much when you have RLC as a full-back and maybe the slowest full-back ever in M.Alonso. Alonso is great when he gets the ball inside the box but other than that he's playing slower football than Serie A.

We need to do what Pep did, just keep buying full-backs. Yes Chiwell was a decent signing but he's injury prone and we got lucky with James. Need more full-backs for this tactic to work cause when James and Chilwell were healthy we were pushing on both sides and winning easy.
