If something isn't working in Tuchel's idea of football it is attacking play. The idea (as far as I understand it) is never to be compromised defensively. That means taking risks around the box is limited. One or two players could overload the box in areas but I guess we are not as fluid as a team to create that.

I think you might be right...he's looking at these last few performances and just doesn't see any passion or drive left in the players.  Seems the motivation has been drained after the RM defeat.

Basically if we don't gift them a couple of goals we can play 0:0 any day of the week without James and Chilwell. But in order to win we need Alonso to take a few shots.

A throw in close to the corner flag goes all of the way back to the f**king goal keeper! 

I'm not usually in favour of booing a team off, but this is atrocious, cowardly and pathetic football.

Kante has been the pick in what has been a very lacklustre first half. Like watching a meaningless end of season fixture where nobody actually wants to be there.

The more I watch us, the more we are crying out for a midfielder who can hit that killer, defence splitting pass. Sometimes that is all that it needs but we don't appear to have a player in the whole squad who is capable of it.

This has got 0-0 written all over it. Might go and sit in my garden with a a nice cold one.

 

Tuchel needs to have a new strategy and tactics system. This display is bs

Let's play 'it's 0-0 at half-time' bingo:

- We're not moving the ball quickly enough
- There's no urgency
- Mass exodus needed
- We should switch to four at the back
- We should bring on/have started <insert equally anodyne attacking midfielder>
- Why do we always pass it sideways?
- Playing it out from the back is pointless

 

Absolutely fking abysmal performance again.

I assume we don't get any of the sky money this year so there is no financial difference to us between 3rd and 4th. Therefore presumably this arrogant mob think that we've got 4th anyway so why bother.
