The main question for him is finding his best position and his injury record.

Looks like we will have another tweener but he will probably suit kinda potter-ball. So far, there is more emphasis on playing more direct and interchangeable front line which will suit tweener like nkunku

This is what made Hazard so good, he was a world class dribbler but was also world class at shielding the ball. Nkunku and Hazard have the same build and dribbling style, they use their body to protect the ball and have close control dribbling. It's a combination that works really well in the Premier League is almost a requirement if you're going to play against teams that pack their defence, so fingers crossed that it works for Nkunku too if we sign him.

Completely agree with puli. Any slight body contact and he just lose control of the ball. You can always use him as winger so it is difficult for defender to stick close to him which what lamp did.

Only if your aspiration is for wingers that can't cross very well !

If a player lacks the ability to go past players, strength and close control then How exactly is he a good dribbler?

If there was nobody else on the pitch he could run with the ball from the centre spot to the penalty box without falling over (on a non windy day) keeping the ball close to his feet.

Of course he's miss the empty net at the end of it.

He can run withthe ball at his feet. Nobody denies that, its the only club in his bag. The problem comes when others from the other team want the ball.

Depends on the league. Bundesliga teams play a high line, Pulisic has the pace and quick feet to go past a player in a 1v1 situation. There isn't just one way to dribble, it's not all about being strong and having close control of a football.

If I would describe him somehow he is a player for a counter attacking side and not that different from Werner.

Smaller and less mistakes. He has clearly a footballing brain and willing to play football but even in the first half he made passing errors that almost led to Celtic scoring.

Watching Nkunku properly for the first time and I can confirm we're going to win everything next season.

Thought he looked really good can dribble pass and a tidy little finish as well seems to have it all

I think he wants us, everything is set up for him to make this his team. Sterling and Mount will be the main men this season and perhaps Aubameyang too but in the long run PEA only has a couple, maybe a few seasons at the top level left unless he can rely on just his finishing without his pace which wouldn't be unheard of. 

On paper though Nkunku, Sterling Mount/Aubameyang sounds mouthwatering. Hopefully Kai kicks on and can join in too.

Haven't completely given up on Pulisic but looks like Ziyech will be gone soon and Nkunku wll be a top replacement if he does sign. Pulisic depending on this season may leave in the summer and I don't think we need to replace both him and Ziyech. I think Nkunku counts as an upgrade on both and we just get in an elite creative midfielder to supply the forwards

even better because it’s against Celtic

Not the comparison I would've chosen. What sets Mbappe apart and makes him another level of dangerous compared to his contemporaries is his crazy pace and acceleration. Nkunku isn't close to him in that aspect.

Based on that clip against Celtic he really does look very good though. Good movement, good finishing, good first touch, good in tight spaces, intelligent link up play, good vision and long passing. Could be a good signing if we manage to get him, but like others I'm a bit wary given our recent track record with attackers, especially from the Bundesliga.
