May 29, 20224 yr You know what´s funny. If you look at who won the European throphies this year, it´s broadly speaking all about smart set-ups. Solid defensively, no cheap mistakes, little luck, work hard and counterattack quickly sides with Real Madrid, Eintracht Frankfurt and AS Roma. None of them play the pressing, high line and high possession based style of modern football. They all play outdated football of not f**king up. 😅 Edited May 29, 20224 yr by ElTerrible
May 29, 20224 yr I avoided watching the match as I dreaded a scummy scouser win. I did zap to it once, though, just as VAR had cancelled Benzema's goal, and I didn't like how crushed he looked. That made me fear the result even more, but lo and behold... My dislike for Real has waned a bit, but no worries, it'll come back. Some more photos of crying L*v*rp**l players would be nice

May 29, 20224 yr The blame game has already started. Locals. Spaniards. Anyone but Liverpool. Always the victim. Anyone heard of any trouble for the Real Madrid fans getting in? I haven’t.
May 29, 20224 yr To quote Kevin Keegan I would luv it if a Liverpool fan, Local MP or any number of Scouse apologists said '' We are sick of English fans getting treated like this '' and got the reply yes but you don't count ourselves as English do you. If they want anyone to blame they should look no further than the ticketless twats who turn up every time they play in a final.

May 29, 20224 yr 4 hours ago, dansubrosa said: I was saying I think Liverpool are a better team overall, rather than the better team in match if that makes sense? They have more quality imo but I agree, Real played a better game. Ok, yes, I see what you mean. But I have to partly disagree with you there too. Yes, Real Madrid is an ageing team but their midfield of Casemiro, Modric and Kroos is superior to Liverpool’s Henderson, Fabinho and Alcantara, who is their only quality midfielder. Liverpools defence is marginally better thanks to VVD, and their attack is great but Benzema and Vinicius have shown how good they can be, and much on par to Salah, Mane etc. Plus, I get the feeling that Liverpools attacking players are not big game players (haven’t scored a single goal in playing time in any of the finals they’ve played this year) unlike Benzema and Vinicius. But I respect your opinion, of course.
May 29, 20224 yr Shows you how small margins can be. We don't mess up in the first leg, we go through most likely. Nevertheless, we were poor this season but still managed to take Liverpool to pens twice in cup finals, and we almost overcame Real Madrid. Ifs and maybes I know.
May 29, 20224 yr Sky Sports are trying their hardest to exonerate any blame from Liverpool fans, That reporter Karvel saying he didn’t see any Liverpool fans doing anything wrong. One reporter even asked a Liverpool fan if he saw any Liverpool fans trying to get in with fake tickets, surprise surprise he said no! Also notice how Jamie Carragher who’s always on Sky Sports hasn’t been seen at all, odd that. No doubt he’ll turn up at their trophy parade later on trying to convince the watching world what an outstanding and unique season Liverpool have had. Edited May 29, 20224 yr by 2211
May 29, 20224 yr Author As I mentioned in the Tommy thread. Liverpool had the luck in both home finals, no goals in open play, a legal Lukaku goal called offside, won it by our mistakes on penalties. They faced a sub par Chelsea, one of the finals playing under sanctions where we couldn’t sell a branded pair of pants and a few key players already packing to leave. If it was a year ago, Liverpool may not have even won a trophy this season.

I can't understand why if French organisation was to blame there appear to have been no such problems for the Madrid fans.
May 29, 20224 yr Coming from a Liverpool fan, I actually think the following is pretty fair: “Fine, agree [that the French can’t be trusted], the narrative shouldn’t be good fans caused this, but we’ve seen f**k loads of people on twitter and on forums bragging about blag tickets and efforts to bunk in. I’m not there so I can’t say anything about what happened on the ground but we too often turn a blind eye to scumbags doing quite blatantly the wrong thing. no excuse for two wrong treatment of our good fans, but we need to start calling out our own. whether it’s knobheads throwing flares into rival supporters ends, knobheads robbing service stations on the way to the cup final and bragging about it on twitter or knobheads flogging and intentionally buying fake tickets for this match. our good fans - those in the vast, vast majority get tarred by these twats, and we excuse them too much. I’ll probably get slated for saying this but it’s true.” Edited May 29, 20224 yr by Upsetter
May 29, 20224 yr Sky sports news are covering the non-parade of two cup wins on penalties in depth…have two different reporters and camera crews in Liverpool..the agenda is real.
May 29, 20224 yr Author Did they have a Champions League winners bus painted up and ready to roll again?
May 29, 20224 yr All taken from RAWK, amazingly they paint a totally different picture to the one all media sycophantic w**kers are desperately trying to paint of poor delightful, innocent, lovely Liverpool fans being picked on for absolutely no reason... it was terrible outside the stadium, both checkpoints and the gates were a joke but people with blags need to have a word with themselves, by my checkpoint i reckon about 90% of reds tried to go in with blags, creating additional queues and chaos Seen video of a few ‘fans’ jumping the fence outside. These looked like local French lads taking a chance. Just the way they were dressed and looked. It was an absolute mess. 'fans' without tickets jumping the fence, fans and locals trying to blag their way in or rush/push their way in. 'fans' again Anyone who tried to rush through without a ticket is an absolute disgrace to the football club. Absolute chaos. Thankful we got in but something could’ve been announced to save the unrest. May I never go the Stade de France again The fans bunking in should be ashamed of themselves. organisation an absolute joke but the behaviour of some of so called fans an absolute disgrace ticketless no marks with no respect or safety for fellow fans he said he hopes these scrotes get what their deserve for spoiling and embarrassing lfc and the 99% of magnificent supporters Yes he said the organisation and policing was rank but these no marks fuelled it he said if some videos come out of their behaviour we’re in big trouble The gate was shut. What are you to do exactly in this situation? There were lots of horrible trouble makers outside as well. Some reds did go over the fence without tickets. It was at this point that 15-20 lads decided to chance their arm at bunking in and it was absolute bedlam of stewards, policies, fans bodies flying everywhere. Fortunately we were at the kiosk at this point so didn’t suspect us of being involved this time. I think this might have been one of the reasons why the ended up shutting gates. Walked pretty much straight round to Y where a lad was pinned down by police for trying to snatch a woman's ticket. At the same time, loads seem to form a second queue to the front, so it was bedlam. Some at the front pulled a gate open, when we were about 5 metres away, and that's when the tear gas came out. Edited May 29, 20224 yr by dkw
May 29, 20224 yr Just had a MP for Liverpool on Sky Sports News thanking Sky Sports News for telling “the truth” about the Liverpool fans. Again he was asked if he saw any fake tickets, unsurprisingly he said he didn’t see any Liverpool fans trying to get in with fake tickets. Then went on to say how the Government and all football fans should get behind Liverpool when they put in their complaint because it’s a disgrace, and that it could of happened to any team. No, it always Liverpool fans caught up in controversy, this didn’t happen with the Real Madrid fans or any other final not involving Liverpool fans. The lack of self awareness from everyone involved with Liverpool is staggering, but the fact the media hang on their every word and paint them out as the the loudest, most passionate, righteous fans and a model club that the world should adore is even more staggering!
