I don't get upset in the slightest when I hear Jorginho and Sterling in Arsenal news stories. In fact it gives me a chuckle.

Don't think I'll be laughing so much next season if the stories are about Chucky at Tottenham and N'kunku at Man United.

It still iritates me tbh. I think Arsenal will still finish above us this year, galling as is to say... just a better more developed squad will. Jorginho fine, they bought him. He won his best trophy with us so if he finishes with no silverware of note with the goons, its only us that matters.

Howevwr, Stirling misfiring isnt good for us and transfer value if we wanted to offload him January. I do think he would have brought something to this Maresca side even if it was every three games. the only way he gets a better return for CFC, as will be the case cause he's going to be sold, he has to be playing well. His move was a double edged sward for us. Keeping him would have made it easier to shift him. All we had to do was wait until January. His entire transfer to us has been a dead weight so far and its a shame because we could have really done with a player who could get 15 goals from a wing or midfield area, its also sad he hasnt delivered despite the manager merrygoround.

Let it go Bluetrooper. Sterling. Just another Tuchel poor signing.

Yep - some crackers....

- Sterling

- Koulibally

- Lukaku

- Auba

- Better Call Saul

- Denis Zakaria

- Bettinelli

His signings were pretty much disasters.... Millions wasted.  Really the only ones that have been serviceable are Cucurella, Fofana and Carney (who I really rate - but isnt playing).

I doubt Tuchel even knew who Carney was before he was signed, can't imagine it was his idea

^^^ THIS.

I don't understand why so many fans seem to be revelling in Sterling doing badly at Arsenal ... it's the absolute worst outcome for our club. No issue if the DoFs/Owners want to go in a different direction, but I'd bet money that Sterling would have had more goals and assists in our current team than Madueke, Mudryk or Neto have so far this season, which would have made it far easier to try and sell him in January or next summer. Maybe Saudi is still on the table regardless, but I can't see that happening as Sterling has a contract with us and probably doesn't want the move (can't say I blame him either)

Remember when his signing was a masterstroke by Sharteta 😂

I really hope these clubs continue on with their arrogance in thinking we are ruining players vs them just being sh*t. That KDB syndrome.

Wait so when he comes back in January what do we do with him?

I dont ever wanna see him on the pitch, hopefully just goes to Saudi

Probably stems from him putting that official statement out after being benched for the opener, embarrassing stuff really, only Ronaldo or Messi could get away with that, and even in such cases, we’re talking ‘in their prime’.

Sterling cannot be the main man here, which is what his ego desires amongst these youngsters, he’d be missing sitters, he was the most frustrating signing of the Boehly era. And if we’re playing devils advocate here, let’s say.. he was equally frustrating as Madueke, at least we’re developing him; no such excuses for Sterling. It fundamentally doesn’t work and cannot work, he’s also not a leader, our oldest Tosin at 27 is more mature and humble ffs.

It was a season loan wans't it? Not 6 months

Sterling excels when players around him are playing well. He’s never had that at Chelsea.

This was a perfect stage for him to finally be the main man at a club but he f**ked it up. He’s not that type of player. When he thought he was stepping up we thought he was being greedy or arrogant. His statement via his agent was another example  and why he won’t play for us again.

Even though he scored a few clutch goals for us he’s almost been as bad for us as Palmer has been good when you take the whole package into consideration ie wages, performance and rapport (or not) with the support.

It’s absolutely clear though that if you earn over £100,000 a week and you’re not Reece James then you have no future at Chelsea unless you putting in Cole Palmer level of performances.

Tara Raheem and don’t let the door hit you on the way out.

Just terminate his contract and move on, if we can sell him to Barca or Madrid, even better

I've only just seen some of this thread when we let him go. My god, it was like we let go prime Ronaldo 🤣

Could understand it if he was here for his peak, had some big contributions for us or was a Chelsea fan growing up but what on earth has Sterling done to earn such a fanbase?

If I were shallow, I'd mention his magnificent bum. Losing both his and Hall's excellent posterior is the big tragedy of this season.

But I'm definitely not that shallow, footballing skills are all that matter to me.

Let's see what numbers we get out of whoever plays left wing this season before continuing to crap all over Raheem Sterling ...

At the moment it is no goals and one assist in 5 games ...

I quite liked this one 😂

Oh mate... working for Reach? Really? No wonder I hadn't heard from him recently.

Sterling and Saka do completely different things on the pitch. If they insist on a Chelsea reject, Ziyech on loan would be a closer (and far inferior) Saka analogue than Sterling.
