and i think if he would move to Chelsea it speaks to his disloyalty and that he only cares about his own stats

Just keep Lukaku and flank him with Ronaldo and Neymar. Would be least amount of effort ever seen from a front 3 in history.

Massively unfair to Neymar to group him in with Ronaldo and Lukaku. 

Neymar actually works harder defensively than most assume, even at PSG now he does a lot more off the ball work than Mbappe and Messi. He works harder defensively than some of our current Wingers!  harder than Pulisic for example.

Ornstein is about as reliable as they get however ive just seen utd saying hes not for sale so unless he pushed it this is a non starter.

I would love him to come for 1 or 2 seasons he scores goals for fun and it would  be so funny to see the faces of all the utd rats I know, Do you guys realise the meltdown that it would cause if he ends up in a chelsea shirt hahahaha!!

 

I don’t know why many think this is crazy he scored 18 goals last season playing for that heap of sh*t think what he could do for us. 
 

we don’t need a players who can press we spent most of the season in the oppositions half, we need someone who can break down stubborn defences and put the ball in the back of the net. 
 

granted he is not for the long term but to kick start the new era I would. One season deal. We done it successfully before the likes of George Weah, Sam Et’o 

get him to mentor the likes of Havertz as well and would probably bring in as much revenue as he costs 

I’d have a gamble for the right price

We spend most of the season there because we do win the ball back early. Whenever Lukaku played even at the start when he was scoring a few (ala Villa at home) the games were more end to end.

Furthermore pressing isn't just about winning it in a dangerous area, if we force the opponent to hoof it to Silva to restart our attack as opposed to the opponents starting one themselves then it's done it's job.

There is no doubt he is a top finisher yet when he plays seems to make everyone play through him and when he is off his game that kiils you.

Portugal's creativity has been crushed recently it is almost the Ronaldo team.

Some claim it is because no-one is on his level.

True story, except I think it's never a gamble. We all know what Ronaldo provides.

This move shouldn’t happen and won’t happen.

In a day or so the Daily Mail or Sky Sports will probably be saying how Ronaldo has turned down a move to Chelsea, just to make out another player has blanked us or the headlines will be Chelsea target Ronaldo has decided to stay at Man Utd.

Nothing to see here.

The Real Madrid that won three CLs in a row would disagree, it's taken them 5 years and Benzema having the season of his life to win another.

 

Juventus problems extended far beyond Ronaldo, they went from Vidal and Marchisio to Ramsey and Bentancur, their squad declined massively over the years 

 

Portugal I feel is more due to their managers tactics more than anything, not too different to England in that regard

 

As for United I feel Ole rode his luck massively getting them to 2nd place (the amount of penalties they got + rest of the top 6 being poor). I actually don't think Ronaldo has made any of his teams worse contrary to popular belief.

Honestly, your obsession with Pulisic is getting beyond worrying. It is actually scary that you need to bring him up in almost every conversation.

It might be beyond your mental capacity.

But when we're linked with a new winger, our dreadful selection of current wingers is incredibly important and given Pulisic is the worst at the club it's critical.

You can't reject Neymar based on his defensive workrate when he adds more defensive workrate that what we have.

So whether it's Neymar, Sterling, Raphina, Dembele or whatever other wide player we're linked with anyone who's not keen on them should remember we're stuck with Pulisic.  Everyone we've been linked with would be a much needed upgrade.

He is a guarantee for goals. We all know that. 

He is also a guarantee for 1 goal every 70 free kicks.

Ronaldo's goal output is dropping rapidly. It was 18 from 30 games last season in the PL down from 29 in his last season with Juve. In 9 seasons with Real he scored 311 goals from 292 La Liga games.  He was an incredible player, it is truly incredible to be better than a goal a game in Spain over 9 seasons, but those days are well over.

I don't know why you keep referencing to other people's mental state. Maybe you are the one who needs checking. It was a serious question. You bring up Pulsiic name constantly and sometimes it just feels as if you are trolling, even you do bring out good points often. Honestly I have a feeling your on your last steps so behave yourself little kid because the way you respond to people often is quite out of order.so learn how to engage with people in a polite manner.

There's probably a good argument that the amount of centralisation he demands means he is only worth it if he's scoring a goal a game or more. Could anything below that may in fact be a net negative on the team as a whole?

18 goals in that United team is more that good. Last time our striker scored 18 in a season was 5 years ago.

With cr7 you need to find a way reduce the negative impact that he bring to your defensive and offensive structure. 

Maybe play him on the left/right not as central player. He can't play as lw or rw anymore so you need to play in 2 st format. Juve did this, rm did this at the end of his stint there, even ragnick did it. 

Like I said before, you have to adapt to him. There is no slight tweak or this or that. Ronaldo goes wherever he want to go. If you can't adapt, your team will suffer big time and he will still score his goal. 

The hardest part is that he is 38 and you can see the decline in his game offensively. Like you said is it worth it? Maybe from commercial point of view, but from football point of view, I am not sure.
