No one cares and should care about Leicester bad form. A win gives a boost to the team.

Yes and the fact that we were down to ten men for more than an hour of the game shows good spirt

Even though I’m extremely happy for the win. This type of weekly performance by Chelsea is not good mentally and physically for the fans. Something has to change. And what does Havertz have to do to be benched by Tuchel. Is he his illegitimate child or something

what a second half. must be 2005/06 against west ham when Maniche got sent off we last played over a half with 10 men and won?

Rode our luck, but couldve and shouldve probably scored a couple more ourselves.

stressful as always.

One of Drogba's greatest ever games. Absolutely dismantled West Ham.

Massive win, we showed guts and courage today

Gallagher had been playing well before his red…should he have still been last man after the yellow?

Good to see Sterling get on the scoresheet…hopefully he will become prolific

Silva marshalled the defence well, good sub by TT at halftime. Dave used his experience well

Mendy has become very erratic, kicking poor again and should have done better  with their goal

Good to see a back four again , we played well today

Good point regarding Conor as the last man. Once Cucurella made that poor pass, Conor was left with a decision of fouling the player or giving him a free run on goal. Obviously he should have let the player past without fouling as there was still a fair part of the pitch to cover. But many players would have done the same and he should not have been the last man when already on a yellow.

Havertz started last season on the bench when we had Lukaku. If we do sign Aubameyang then I am pretty sure Havertz will be back on the bench.

What a win!.

The boys showed guts and courage, something normally lacking.

Hanging on a bit at the end but we did have 10 men for over an hour.

Lets not underestimate this performance either, it was still 0-0 when Conor got sent off!

A great performance under the circumstances.

Up the Chels!

Mendy - 7 - Maybe could have done better for their goal, but it was hit really well and he pulled off some great saves.

James - 8 - Excellent in the first half, everything good was going through him and got the assist for the winner. Fatigue bought out a few errors late on.

Chalobah - 7 - Had a solid game apart from that mistake that put Vardy in.

Silva - 8 - A rock as usual, positional play and blocking was high quality again.

Cucurella - 7 - Being down to 10 men, you really need somebody who can bring the ball out and at least give us a chance to create something, I thought he did that job really well today.

Jorginho - 8 - I thought he was excellent when we went down to 10 men. Controlled the midfield the best he could and didn't panic.

Gallagher - 2 - Awful from the first minute. Picked up a stupid yellow card and then did the same not long after. Never looked comfortable and looks horribly out of his depth. Looked no better than Saul out there today.

Loftus-Cheek - 6 - Used his body well to protect the team when going down to 10 men, but he was still slow in his decision making again.

Mount - 3 - Awful again, the horrible start to the season continues.

Havertz - 5 - Was as bad as Mount in the first half, improved a bit in the second half and won us a few freekicks when we really needed it.

Sterling - 8 - Was really frustrating in the first half but made up for it with those two goals.

Subs

Azpilicueta - 7 - Did exactly what you would expect of him when he came on.

Pulisic - 6 - I thought he was the right player to come on at the right time. Used his dribbling to get us out of a few tight positions.

Kovacic - 5 - Needs time to get back to his best, hopefully he doesn't pick up another injury on the way, because we desperately need him right now.

Chilwell, only had a few minutes on the pitch.

Let’s hope so. Because with him as a false 9 it’s like playing with 10 players

A couple of noticed this and made the same point at the time forbzy. It was not the right set-up. Gallagher is not the DM and normally would not have been the  designated defensive midfielder protecting against a counter-attack at a set-piece. Especially when on a Yellow card. Of course this is obvious. But when I pointed it out, I was accused of picking on Jorginho. Again.

Haven't you asked for a dynamic two or three where all of Kante, Kova and Gallagher takes turns being deep?

I suppose you got a taste of how that would look from Gallagher today.

Jorginho wouldn’t have got to Barnes to make the foul
