September 14, 20223 yr Old habits die hard. Trying to walk it into the net. Other than that some pretty positive play.

I must tell you I'm absolutely shocked that these attacking players haven't already scored 2 goals each without Tuchel shackling them. I'm shocked that Potter hasn't instantly transformed us into a free flowing , high scoring team. he's had nearly a bloody week !

Crowd completely flat at our game and City game (probably to do with Queen) but no coincidence that both us and weirdly City have no tempo whatsoever. Fans make a big difference. Need to up the tempo real fast second half. The Bridge has been quiet for ages now. It's rare to see it buzzing anymore. It's the football, it's not exciting to watch.
September 14, 20223 yr Potter will need to get Mount up to scratch. He’s crucial, need him on good form.

September 14, 20223 yr Decent performance so far but the same struggle of only Auba willing to shoot and their keeper not making a save.

He's probably gonna outlast Potter too. First it was Lampards fault with him, then Tuchel and it will soon be Potters. Or perhaps the whiners can wake up and realize our attackers just aren't that good instead of dying for the manager to be sacked.

September 14, 20223 yr I consider Hoddle and Joe Cole to be race traitors for pronouncing the a's in 'Graham' like the one in 'Brahms'.
September 14, 20223 yr Sterling at LWB. Dave at RCB. Havertz in some bizarre CAM role that leaves Aubameyang isolated. Mount, Jorginho, and Kovacic pitch lengths away from one another. What is this?
September 14, 20223 yr Normal service resumed. Just need to concede a sloppy goal and scramble around 2nd half to try and retrieve the result. Tuchel wasnt the biggest problem in the performances, so I'm not expecting Potter to instantly fix our issues, he needs time with so many new players, as did Tuchel. On the positive, I think Sterling has been dangerous from that left sided position, and Mount has looked a lot better. Hopefully we nick 3 points here.

He delays passing the ball when there’s an easy option on in a better position. Hes completely allergic to passing. He had the issue at Man City and its not changed one bit. Hes just too greedy. Saying that, he has still been our best attacking player by a long distance

And Havertz is very very lucky to be at Chelsea because at any other club on the planet he is sat on the bench. I wasn’t impressed by Tuchel, and it’s way to early to comment on Potter, but I can say with great confidence that any manger would have a hell of a job getting much out of this lot, irrespective of formation and selection. No shot on target in 50 minutes when we’ve had nearly all the possession. What’s wrong with them? One shot on target.
September 14, 20223 yr Well not much has changed in a week or so. Sterling still running head on in to defenders and losing the ball or trying to take a ridiculous shot on goal. Apart from his mask I haven't seen PEA, Silva still clearing up the mess, Dave and surprisingly Kova giving away the ball every 2 minutes, Cucurella ..not really sure what the game plan is there and he's nowhere in the same league as Ben. Jorginho dawdling on the ball and turning his back on the forward line forcing him to play backwards...Kai still floating around. Best player by far is Reece...anyway lets see what the next 45 brings....3 points I hope or this could be a short CL campaign with the next 2 games against AC Milan.
September 14, 20223 yr Guys stop don’t you see the #realscars add with Jorginho in it where he has the word useless on him in scar tissue

Sarcasm duly noted The game is probably crying out for Pulisic Somewhat unsurprisingly it's all very similar which it will be as I don't think the issue was one of formation or tactics. For me we need the backroom staff to work on fitness, pattern and energy before we start to see real improvements
