Caicedo is a bright light in the team. Not perfect, and sometimes would benefit from being more disciplined or with better reading - but his energy, pace, sacrifice is a world away from the unathletic and dull as dishwater 3 yrd passes of Jorginho.

We can't, nor should we. If players need rest that's the a club's responsibility not the international team's.

I hate international friendlies as much as anyone but club's should never have the right to withdraw players from any international squad.

I mean we can mate, will just lead to fifa banning them for playing for us for a few weeks if you national association complains.

am glad ecuador have seen sense, and more national associations should as well. For competitive games I get it, but for Friendly's they have a greater responsibility for duty of care for the players.

Teams that played in the club world cup fifa should be stepping in to help in some way, I don't know what. Is no coincidence that we have so many injuries. Psg do as well.
