What’s funny about this is it isn’t in anyone in Saudi’s interest to be quiet about things. They’re on a mass advertising campaign to grow their league and entice players.

Embarrassing behavior from Brighton. Clearly a media leak to put the frighteners on and move things along. 

Their manager openly talking about and name dropping Levi was cringy and classless, this move is just desperate. 

No club would do this anonymously or secretively, this isn't a James Bond film. 

Walk away , I've got nothing against Brighton, Cucurrela and Potter were both entirely down to us.

I agree and I'd add that in many ways they are being outright disrespectful. 

How could a bid be confidential? If it is, why release it to the media ? 😅 It could be Luton or Burnley, of course Caicedo won't go there after Brighton accepts the bid. Liverpool won't go near Caicedo for the price quoted, they haven't even came up with 50M for Levia yet. Its similar to Cucurella transfer, we were the only one bidding, yet ended up being a bidding war with ourselves and paid way over

City don't overpay for players. They have their value and don't go over. As it was for Cucurella, and was for Rice this season.

Pool or maybe Bayern are the only realistic option but no way they will pay 100m for Caicedo.
