Joao Felix

It's 2025 not 2028, supposedly on his youtube Fabrizio said Depay is a replacement for Felix 👀. This in conjuction with the belief by the board (as reported by a few sources) if we  want at the end of the loan we could sign him permanently (although no buy option is believed to be included in the deal it is believed we would not struggle to reach an agreement).

Let's see how things develop, I do belief he's a talented player and I hope after serving his suspension we see the most naturally talented player at the bridge since Hazard.

With Simeone staying on as well it becomes more probable we sign Felix permanently.

I hope we do, it would be great to have a forward line to be excited about and the combination of Felix, Nkunku and Mudryk could well be special.

Hopefully we find the right player to play in front of them, and players to provide for them.

This loan seems more a "try before you buy" thing, otherwise I don't believe we would have paid such a lofty loan fee without an understanding we could sign him permanently.

The prospect of having Nkunku, Mudryk, Felix with the option of Sterling, Mount, Ziyech on the bench is pretty good on paper.

If we go I go next season with all these even without a number 9 I would be content no way you contain these players for a full 90 with James and Chilly on the wins Zakria and Kova/Kante pulling the strings in midfield Havertz in a number 10 also more consistently

Potter putting Mount on the bench seems highly unlikely.

I can't see Ziyech still being here next season now that Madueke is on his way. I imagine Ziyech, Pulisic, CHO and Aubameyang will be on their way out. Also wouldn't be surprised if a good offer for Havertz comes about we get rid of him too.

Honestly it's not set in stone what will mr.Potter do with Lukaku, he could easily try to offload him and make room for someone else but given the sheer number of players that will be coming in maybe Lukaku gets lucky enough to see another chance at the club... Would it be the 3rd lucky charm?

Honestly it would almost be worth it for @Argoreaction game by game. Last year his posts on Lukaku were great.

We’ve only seen 55mins but if that’s anything to go by I’m excited for what is to come. Perhaps this is a short term fix, but if he settles and we get results I can see this becoming permenant. Issue will be the fee with PL, Chelsea and performance tax!

After seeing him for only 55minutes you could see his quality, can’t see him signing permanently though unless we bin Havertz, a lot of money for yet another player who isn’t quite a striker isn’t quite a number 10, and we’ve got Nkunku coming in the summer who plays in a similar position. Hopefully he does brilliantly though and helps us bag big ears number 3 🏆

Hahah someone else who thinks about CL glory this season. I'm not the only one haha. My friends were debating who is going to win the CL this season and could not decide on any team. I said "well, you know, I've not heard any of you say Chelsea." They did not laugh, but did not agree either. One of my friends said "Well you can't rule those bastards out because they've had their fair share of epic CL nights and thrive playing the underdog role. They will beat Dortmund and if they get a good draw they are in the Semis and from then on everything is posibile."

If he will deliver the quality we all expect from him and he would be happy here, I don't see why he won't sign for us permanently.

Still a long road to play.

Would love him to stay even after that 55 minute cameo. Big issue for me is the transfer fee though, he's got a contract until 2027 and was signed for 140m. i imagine it will take 100m to get him and we already have Nkunku coming in for 55m. Plus the need for a CM or two. I'm enjoying the spending under Todd but i don't know if this one would be one step too far.

Nkunku

Mudryk   Felix   Madueke

Looks a pretty mean front 4 though.
