Joao Felix

Featured Replies

Looked good until the red card, and now missing for the next 3 matches, gutted.

Hopefully by the time he’s back we can get a couple of injured players back then our season can get back on track a bit.

Getting really expensive now.

So initially he was only for 4.5 months with us, but now he can't play for another month.

This is so unfortunate. Really loved what I saw so far.

It was a impressive debut but it is not a surprise, he is good.

I want to say this is the level of player that we need to sign but atletico paid 110 m for Joao Felix 4 years ago so not sure that is realistic.

But i thought our attackers were poor because of Kovacic and Jorginho.

He was doing what I expect from Kova and Jorginho and any other midfielder, showing himself in the midfield space to drive the ball forward and trying quick forward passes. I thought that our midfield yesterday was mostly missing in the first half, and he had to drop down to get the ball forward. In addition, he was running into space and not being shy of shooting and driving the attack. He had an excellent debut for us, I can't imagine what he could do if we had a quality midfield.

Looked head and shoulders above the majority of players around him, shame he's missing for 3 games now. Him and Mount behind an actual striker could be very dangerous.

Mount has been useless for months if you play Felix with anyone is Sterling behind a striker Mount needs time to reflect on the bench along with Kai.

He looked heads and shoulders above Havertz up top. Automatically forward thinking and progressive, even going for shots and trying to make sh*t happen. He looked like a game changer. Unfortunately he changed the game for the worse 😂 but outside of that red card he looked promising. We need a similar player in midfield, ST and RB now though.

I read that he's the player with 5th most shots on target this season just after the game last night. f**king pathetic indictment from the rest of the team and our so called "attackers"

Just shows how awful our squad is yet people are still tied to the idea that "this squad is good enough to challenge for top 4" or that "It won the champions league 2 seasons ago". Most of our key players in that champions league run have either left the club, got older, or are injured. We've been left with a bunch of bang average players and players who choose when they want to play well (looking at Mount and Havertz) so its no surprise we are playing awful.

Mount and Kai have been poor but Sterling is your answer? Christ he's been worse than both of them under Potter.

imagine him with Nkunku, we might actually be good going forward for the 1st time since Hazard left.

This is very promising for next season if Felix is signed and manages to not drop his standards like the others until then.

Sterling was fine under Tuchel and has been at the top level for years put him in the right position and there is no question who to choose if you want goals and assists.

Based on what I’ve seen so far, I really don’t understand why A.Madrid let him go on loan??? He’s also one of their best players, baffles me.

Simeone and him fell out.
