Victor Osimhen

Could have come to the PL for a year on loan, but his agent stopped that.

Now he has to go to Turkey, on a loan, when a player of Victor's quality cannot possibly go on a loan.

Humble pie there.

The agent is just thinking that Turkey is a shop window on the way from Napoli to Saudi Arabia where his big pay day awaits.

Man, if I were Osimhen thinking I'd either be at Chelsea or earning 600k a week in Saudi but end up at Galatasaray my agent would be on a one way trip to the moon.

Exactly...nothing in the news about a murdered sports agent or even a "missing" one.

Osimhen is all talk...lol

Why is it that Sky have just reported about this and have stated that Galatasaray will pay his wages which are about £160k pw.

Wtf, 160k pw. That's well within our range. That's only 40 grand a week more than Malang Sarr was on

Thank F*** I say. Stirling was only here for the money, he's F***ed off as well... perhaps the owners incompetence saved us from this signing.

He is a grown up. His agent doesn't make decisions for him.

If he wanted to play for us he could have. And if he backed himself he'd have made more than enough money

So yeah, I'm happy with this

As God awful as Jackson is, avoiding this dud might be the best business we did all season. The price/wages for what he would have offered would’ve been too much to handle.

I thought his agent was his mum? If so, depends how tough she is. 😆

Supposedly added a lower buyout clause and some bo**ocks about leaving if a “big” club comes in in January.  Doesn’t sound like he’s planning on staying long.

He has now.

Do you know what...thats the best thing to happen to this vicky bloke.

Wish him luck in the future...lol

Apparently there are 10 named big clubs including Chelsea and Pool.

Good on him for sacking his idiot agent but as the employer this was all down to Osimhen. It was always his choice, and he got too greedy. Have fun in Turkey, mate!

Not defending Oshimen but it's far more complex than it seems. Yes, the player has the ultimate legal choice, but they are heavily invested and most feel highly indebted to agents.

Some of the tactics that people like Mino Raiola etc are said to have used to acquire young players and influence them read like witness statements from victims of child abuse or domestic violence. The grooming, isolation and manipulation tactics are eerily similar and while footballers are well paid, we do well to remind ourselves that the vast majority come from very underprivileged backgrounds with no real agency.

Agents are f**king scummy, their social media mouthpieces are complicit, and football needs to regulate them much more than it actually does.
