This isn't just on Potter. We've seen this story too many times over the years. There's a mentality and quality issue. We have an aging RB as a back up to James, that says it all. I think Kante has masked many issues we've had in midfield too. Problem is that many won't have patience, and not sure if Boehly will continue to if the fans put the pressure on. 

Cucurella looked like a perfect back up to Chilwell at Brighton, but he's such a nothing player for us. Well below Chilwell at the moment. Even Alonso had more to his game and he could barely run.

Play the kids. Change the tempo. Change the style. Whatever ....but DO SOMETHING!

Poor Dave. Club legend but he’s championship standard now, despite being a good leader.

Results are always on the manager. Not saying he should be sacked and I hope he isn't but any manager we have had this past decade had issues they had to deal with.

That excuse would have worked had we not seen Ziyech, Kova etc. play very well in the World Cup. 

Also the starting lineup had new players throughout. The style of football got worse as the game wore on. 

At this point Potter is just throwing players on to see if anything works.

Give the lad 5 mins ffs. Shocking.

What has Potter been up to during WC break? Our game is getting even worse than before WC. And I thought it wasn't possible.

Correct. This is a perfectly normal Chelsea game. Mentality is 90% the problem and the rest is ability.

Chukwumeka isn't even a game winning sub. It's a face saving sub for Potter to say he gives chances to young players
