Nottingham Forest v Chelsea (PL) Sun 1st Jan 2023 16:30 GMT

Relegation fodder opening up our defense at will. This does not look good at all. Top half will be difficult playing like this. No quality, no structure. Only thing we're comfortable with is backward, sideways football when the opposition sits back and gives us way too much respect. The minute they start attacking, we fall apart.

This isn't just on Potter. We've seen this story too many times over the years. There's a mentality and quality issue. We have an aging RB as a back up to James, that says it all. I think Kante has masked many issues we've had in midfield too. Problem is that many won't have patience, and not sure if Boehly will continue to if the fans put the pressure on.

Issues or not, we're better than Forest. He's had 4 months in charge, and still no idea of how he wants to play. What was he doing during the World Cup? We don't look any better than two monthd ago.

I think having patience will only hurt us at this point. It was Brighton's recruitment team that we needed, not Brighton's manager.  There's no way Enrique or Pochettino could do worse than this,

So 12 or so guys were away for the World Cup but there's no sign here that Potter has a plan or philosophy to give the team. He's had a month to work on how he wants us to play - on this evidence he's not shaping how we play, it's still left to individuals to make it up as they go. That's not good enough is it?

Cucurella looked like a perfect back up to Chilwell at Brighton, but he's such a nothing player for us. Well below Chilwell at the moment. Even Alonso had more to his game and he could barely run.

He did some good defence today. But true Chilwell and Alonso has some long shots.

What really f**ks me off about Havertz is he plays like he's got all the time in the world on the ball.

So nonchalant in the ball and doesn’t really suit this league. Doesn’t ever please the fans either that style

It's definitely not all on Potter, I agree with that, but I am not seeing anything so far that indicates he will be the one to guide us in the right direction. All he has done since the world cup is change to a back 4, but how we play is exactly the same. At least in the past we had a coach that came in and immediately changed things even if things went wrong later, nothing has improved under Potter, we have only gotten worse.

I want us to stop changing the manager at the first sign of trouble, but it's got to be for the right coach. Potter should have been able to change something about this team by now if he was so good. Tuchel managed it in his first few months, why are we not holding Potter to those same standards?

No structure no attacking patterns. Nothing

wtf does the fraud do during his coaching sessions ?

There was a blogger who attended our training session and he was totally appalled at the complete lack of coaching. He witnessed our players f**king about, rolling the ball for a laugh, no effort or exertion  whatsoever, and the coaching stuff not giving two sh*ts, just encouraging this clownery with "Great job, boys!" occasional shouts. I am not surprised to see what you all observe. I am just patiently waiting for Potter to leave the building.
