It's clear as day there is a massive imbalance in the squad. The midfield is incapable of clicking, no matter who plays. The back line is relying on a 38 year old CB and its evident teams are no targeting our right side given how awful Azpilicueta is. 

Add the fact Aubameyang is an utter disaster, Havertz's has 1 good game in 5, Pulisic is soft as sh*t and Sterling simply came here to collect a paycheck, it's no wonder why we are seeing what we are seeing.

Absolutely pathetic. Second half is one of the most dreadful performances I have ever seen in my entirety of watching Chelsea. Pathetic. Absolutely pathetic. Every single one of those travelling fans deserve to be refunded for the journey and the tickets. Awful. Diminishes our chances of finishing top 4 realistically now. Awful fixtures to come this month. Ziyech was a bright spark coming on and actually delivered the best ball of the game but Aubameyang spurned it. Pulisic did well in spells but wasn't helped by Sterling who was poor besides the goal. Havertz was awful all game too. Azpi proved why we need an emergency replacement for RB. His legs are finished. I would have preferred Chalobah playing there than him. Yep, pretty much have to place our hopes on the UCL to have any chance of getting back in it next season.

That was one of the worst performances of the season for me.

We was so slow and laborious that Forest must of literally said at half time “They ain’t even playing well, up the tempo and we’ll get something out of this game”.

I’d rather risk losing with energetic promising youngsters than these bunch of players who more or less stopped playing as soon as we took the lead.

The one thing I will say about Potter however is his concerningly reliance on Havertz.

We do indeed have issues with the squad. But even with those imbalances, we should win THIS game and a better manager would with the same available players.

I think you may be slightly putting words in his mouth. It’s possible to think both: that it wasn’t sunshine and rainbows under Tuchel and also that Potter wasn’t/isn’t the answer. You have to have a really good reason to sack a coach THAT early in the season, given their track record, especially versus that of the replacement… which was/is zilch.

Not sure what else Potter could do really. 

We have zero presence in midfield to provide any creativity. 

Havertz, Pulisic, and Sterling did f**k all, to which Ziyech and Aubameyang also contributed to f**k all. 

Forest were clearly targeting Azpilicueta and Koulibaly. 

 

Mount was the only one trying to make things happen.

For every issue we have, it all stems back to the midfield.

The thing is this manager had a month to work out a solution and didn't. 

So the "continue regardless of manager" line is not true.
