Honestly, what has he done in the time that the WC has been on? Football is dire.  

Potter must have spent the month in Dubai because today's game indicated there was zero effort to changing anything in this team.

Last week was an anomaly. We are now right back where we were a month ago and getting worse bit by bit

Absolutely woeful performance. It wasn't even like one of those games where the relegation threatened side played a one off worldie, we were just completely clueless. We couldn't match their pace, their hunger, their fitness. I saw literally one decent bit of creativity from us all game, and that came from Ziyech's cross. This team is pathetic and the coach in charge is just as bad. I expect the usual "we tried" excuses from Potter instead of telling the truth. If Potter had anything about him, he would come out and tear this team apart. 

Potter is a bad manager, but the players were just as dreadful at the start of the season and the end of last season, under Tuchel. 

We have amassed an incredibly expensive squad, and about 80-90% of the money was utterly wasted.

Well that was depressing defeat. Way to ruin new year’s day. How the team managed to lose control of a game against a bottom 3 club is beyond me. Team has a lot of issues all over the place. James is the only good player left in this team and he’s injured.

Bournemouth outplayed us. Forrest outplayed us also. 
 

What does that really say about the mentality of our club 

I miss Tommy simply because at least you would see passion from him on the touch line, you would see him visibly annoyed with Potter f**k knows what he’s thinking at all.

Just to be clear the football was just as dreadful under Tuchel at the end and we will never know if he would turn it around.

Carry on like this and we’ll be lucky to finish in the top half. We deserved to lose this match. It’s not the players. We have the quality to win this game easily. But Potter lacks the charisma (and possibly more) to get the most out of them. It’s a pretty key part of the job. Instead he’s just anonymous on the sidelines. 

Outside of the goal, we did NOTHING all game. Embarrassing

I think having patience will only hurt us at this point. It was Brighton's recruitment team that we needed, not Brighton's manager.  There's no way Enrique or Pochettino could do worse than this,

Read that back. 4 months! No Kante, James constantly injured. Very little midfield quality. No good striker. Average wide attackers. Our deficiencies have been masked now for 4/5 seasons. Domestically we've been poor since Conte left.

The league has gotten tougher since then and we've regressed. Until we bring in quality and strengthen the team, we will continue to be poor no matter the manager. Many seem to think a magic wand can be waved and all our issues disappear and we become contenders again. Isn't happening.

Potter is a huge part of our problem we can break as many transfer records as we like but untill we admit we made a big mistake and address the Potter issue  we are going only one way and that's  down the league table
