I thought it was an excellent window (somewhat assuming Enzo would go to City), but after the first two fixtures I’m realising that I’d overestimated our midfield and it’s pretty clear it’s crying out for some high quality that protects a questionable back 3.

And rumour is City have finally made an offer then? For 60m?

Doesn't Ndiaye play predominantly on the left wing cutting in, or on the right doing the same. Surely he is back up to Doku and Semenyo.

Ben Jacobs reporting we turned down their "120m" bid. Which sounded like it was probably made up of adds ons to get to that number anyway.

Wouldn't be surprised if this doesn't get over the line, think it's still likely though.

So we're only making a 3mil profit on Enzo. Underwhelming since we've developed him into a prem proven player.

We overpaid for him in the first place. And he’s been underwhelming for us.

For us to make a profit on him, is excellent.

Reports the 120mill package offer has been rejected, along with reports our offer for Camara has been rejected along with Roma's manager putting a firm block on allowing Kone to join us, despite us offering him Gittens on loan, which he apparently really wants.

City left this too late, their intention was to make us accept a smaller fee on their terms it seems but it is blowing up both in their face and ours as, if our replacements don't come in, Enzo stays.

Even if he were to stay, we've seen hes not defensively sound enough to play in that two. Him being here makes little difference to that
