We're about to see it in action anyway because there's no way Enzo plays from now until the end of the season.Yeah good games to find out who cuts it or not, but squad depth won't be tested that much anymore as the season is winding down at this point. The issues usually happen when you play twice a week consistently.I do think/hope that the club will try to find a replacement for Enzo when/if he leaves, but I don't have much trust they will find the right profile tbh. They will end up getting another ball-winning mid.
April 3Apr 3 SO THE OWNERS HAVE DECIDED NOT THE PUPPETFootball LondonChelsea drop Fernandez for two matches in ruthless move -...Liam Rosenior has spoken to the media ahead of Chelsea's clash against Port Vale in the quarter-final of the FA Cup.
April 3Apr 3 Rosenior is a glorified PR man for the ownership. Quite sickening really, I already can't stand him.
April 3Apr 3 Sky SportsEnzo Fernandez: Chelsea drop midfielder for Port Vale and...Enzo Fernandez will not play for Chelsea in FA Cup quarter-final against Port Vale or Premier League match against Manchester City; Fernandez has been linked with Real Madrid and cast doubt on his CheWould not have played today anyway, however dropping him next week is a big call and is right the call. Especially being current captain whilst James is out.

April 3Apr 3 @Caps_Lock_King I think we can beat City without Enzo, yes. I would actually like to see a run of games were Palmer plays central and we have to out and out wingers. We have got capable stand ins and I think sometimes the best away to get at City is to attack them with pace. So yes, I think we still can beat City without him. Edited April 3Apr 3 by STATS
April 3Apr 3 Only 9 games left this season ... they might as well have announced they were leaving him out for all of them ... Eghbali must be absolutely fuming that his poster boy signing so publicly wants out of the project, so there's no downside to any of this LOL (unless we end up keeping Enzo)
April 3Apr 3 The board must be really unhappy with speaking out of turn, missing the Man City match is a big call.A match where we can't afford any passengers so every cloud and all that...
April 3Apr 3 Oh No, we’re missing Enzo for the next 2 matches! Who else will step up and take 4 touches to control a ball before overhitting a simple 5 yard pass or being dispossessed and stopping a counter attack. What a massive loss.

April 3Apr 3 IM NOT A SUPPORTER OF THE COACH SINGER, SO SAID HE WOULD BE GONE 6 MONTHS AGO BUT HE WONT BE THE ONLY ONE WHEN WE FINISH OUTSIDE THE CL PLACES, AT LEAST ONE OF PALMER OR CAICEDO WILL ALSO LEAVE
April 3Apr 3 Does anyone seriously blame Enzo for speaking out !We have a puppet in charge who is basically told who to play I will be staggered if he’s the only one to go
April 3Apr 3 Some of you can't surely be backing the owners here. The players SHOULD be speaking, they were sold a lie. This project is a farce, I can't blame them for looking to get out, as painful as it is to say that. As for Rosenior's comments about protecting the culture, what is he on? What does your puppet word salad brain know about the culture of Chelsea football club? These owners will just use Enzo as a scapegoat from here and try and paint him as the problem to dress up their mess.
April 3Apr 3 The puppet has been here 3 months and he speaks of culture. Nothing but a yes man The fans should sing Enzo name to make a point Enzo is right this project is over

Here's to Lavia and Essugo being able to give Caicedo and Santos some rest. But Caicedo can't get a yellow against City or else we'll have Lavia/Essugo+Santos left for Utd and Brighton. The club probably has a midfield target ready, it's just not going to be anyone we expect. We can still get players like Anderson or Wharton if the directors can convince them that Utd still doesn't have a manager ready and Pep is leaving(plus City in danger of immediate relegation)
April 3Apr 3 Dropped for "crossing the line" - Can we get a VAR check on that? As a top level player it must be very frustrating to be managed/coached by a bloke who's top achievement was to almost win a managerial award at Hull, before they sacked him. Enzo Fernandez is a top player - despite what the vast majority of you blokes on here think - and like many of our young players they are used to much better managers/coaches and to have a PE teacher type in charge has to be a fcucking nightmare.
April 3Apr 3 HmmSo due to comments while on international duty about waning to live in Madrid Enzo is sanctioned by the club.Yet for racist singing while on international duty we did nothing?Couldn't possibly be BlueCo PR continuing to create an enemy to distract the fanbase, maybe ahead of a big money sale, could it?

If he had spoken out more against the owners and SD's I would have had more time for his comments.

If the media asks questions, the manager can then say his head is not in the right space. Instead they have created a whole new saga revolving around the player. This will run till the end of the season.
