Most of us said just keep playing him and it’s showing. Won the penalty and scored. He will only get better.

Mudryk performance was encouraging. Same as before, the key word is simple. No I am a superstar nonsense. 

Hopefully this will continue.

And I can believe that in some respect that he may have been trying it and it came off but probably would have missed it if he tried it 10 more times. 🤣🤣 

I don’t care because it shows his confidence is coming back for him to be trying such things.

I'm convinced it was a cross/shot aimed right at the place it crossed the line at the back post, Sterling was lurking back there, worst case scenario. it's an assist, best case a worldie.

you could see his eyes shift to the goal, just as he played it, and his foot was aimed to play it there, not across the box.

I think so too. His original plan might have been to cross but, at that point, there was no one in the box.

All well and good but that downplays the great work Poch is doing during the week. He's playing a more complete and increasingly more confident team. And he's taking up much better positions in all phases as well.

He's apparently a very introverted character, and they are all working hard to bring him out of himself and to feel wanted.

The huge smile on his face after the goal was lovely to see. Same as after his last one. Like a kid on Christmas morning. 

You can tell in his play, and the look on his face he's no longer worrying about making mistakes. If he continues like this, i suspect he will be a superstar.

De Zerbi said he's a future ballon Dor winner, lets hope we get to see it.

So he proved he can come good. (Not that it will last or that he can't improve on current play, but he's not as awful as it was made to sound)

Can we now close the thread or at least change it to a less punditry bias title? Like simply "Mukhaylo Mudryk - Puskas esque goals only"?

Not taking anything away from Poch here, but it was obvious he needed time to implement his style and ideas too. 

Go back a few weeks and look for how many "poch out" comments were made in here so prematurely 😂

Don't even pay attention to any of the FT accounts on Twitter, it's a bunch of a 12 year olds with football avatars calling players frauds and sp*stics if they have one bad game.

I don't think I've seen one person on here saying Pochettino needs sacking, there's a fair few who don't rate him and that's fair enough. But most people recognise that sacking him would accomplish us nothing at this point and the team needs time.

In all fairness these past 12 months I just didnt see what Gallagher offered and thought we'd be much better off selling him. He really didn't seem to do much except just run around and pick up needless yellows and foul people.

But under Poch he's actually been very good. Still not all that technically and on the ball, but his play is definitely much improved. Only issue is I don't see him starting much once all our midfielders become fit (Lavia, Nkunku, Chukwuemka on top of Enzo and Caicedo)

No amount of game time is going to help this guy. I think he;s had more yellow cards from dribbling at people, than he has beaten the man. Truly one of the worst signings we've ever made, considering the cost.

If we can sell Arteta Jorginho and Havertz, he'll definitely be up for taking Mudryk off our hands at some point. Might even get all our money back LOL.

His dribbling is surprisingly bad but I do think his passing and vision is very good. Probably needs to adopt a pass first mentality cause dribbling ain't it.
